Why is Abhay getting sabotaged for Vikrant's redemption?

What was today's episode...like seriously what??

Did CVs build Abhay's graph for him to fall down this cliff? What is this sudden pagalpan shown of I know you love me as well....what Sia didn't do he is now doing. The Abhay we knew would probably express all of a sudden but he wouldn't force himself onto someone. This is so anti-Abhay! He could have just told Deepika his feelings are real and she has no right to term it confused or immature, rather then forcing her to confess as well. All this sudden shift brings me to if this is CVs way to make the audience soften to Vikrant? If yes, its a bad idea. Why can't two tough choices co-exist and Deepika make the hard call on who is better for her. After all that we have seen for Abhay, this is the last thing I want for him.

Vikrant - Maybe the traditional audience sees this as redemption but for me this is Vikrant's masterstroke Precisely why I believed bringing him home is like feeding a snake. He has come to know she hasn't moved on, he knows Deepika well enough to know the right buttons to press. He is a born manipulator and charmer and it only helps that Rohit is soo good looking (perfect casting)! People say when you are older you dodge bullets better but what is also true is if one actually hits you, you just die this time around! If Deepika gets trapped this time, there is no looking back as Vikrant is back stronger!

Whatever Vipika's fate is, please don't butcher Abhay Sathe is my sincere request!

Yeah I somewhat agree..Like I said in EDT, the projection of Abhay today, during his proposal when he started saying that she too loves him which she isn't understanding, was indeed out of his character..But that wasn't wrong..in the sense that this guy has never experienced "love" before..It happens! But if he keeps forcing her in next 2-3 episodes about that, then it'll be wrong! 👍🏼

Nd once Deepika called him out as immature n all, he didn't retaliate or force her more..He was just astonished nd later accepted that she doesn't love him back..that's why that emotional outburst happened by the road with that heartbreaking song, as he finally accepted the reality nd on top of that saw ViPika together having a laugh at her house! He's getting every visuals that will make any person believe they're having an affair! 😳

Among the 3 leads, Abhay is actually the best character..definitely better than the other two but not perfect too..His biggest nd only drawback is, he believes everything he sees nd judges on the basis of that! Baaki do leads toh gandi naali mein beh gaye hai..Vikrant is completely gone nd don't know how will they redeem Deepika..but Abhay ka yeh ek flaw chhor k, he's actually all good! So ek flaw we can adjust with..😳

So i don't think Abhay is butchered..They will make Abhay play with this one flaw till he gets to know ViPika's past may be..Till then, he will surely question her of her affair nd might also question her self respect..as she has actually lost that since last week, if we see impartially nd practically! 🤓

I get you when you say he hasn't experience "love" before hence the astonishment. I am actually not surprised with the astonishment cuz Deepika did give him all the signals (Deepika does have a problem to lead both the men). What I mean is if the genders were reversed and both were of the same age, everyone would have seen this coming and the girl would have had all the sympathy. See this is a women empowerment show but please kuch bhi mat becho woman empowerment ke chakkar mein!

What I am surprised with is Abhay being sure she likes him and reiterating it and beleiving she doesn't love him as she loves Vikrant, I can't picture Abhay passing such an immature comment. My issue is with the inconsistency in character portrayal, guessing if this sharp turn is to only look Vikrant good?

Tomorrow's precap too makes him look like an individual merely taking vengeance but in reality Abhay is just being Abhay - he would call out shit irrespective of who you are but that's conveniently shown as him being a sore loser.

My fav character is Abhay as well hence my fears of him being butchered. I do feel initially he had the flaw to judge quickly but in this case, he isn't even wrong. He has enough reasons to confront Deepika and accuse her of a EMA. Just cuz he loves her and is younger to her doesn't mean all points he makes can be deemed as an act of immaturity.

People on this forum believe Abhay isn't good enough for Deepika yet. Based on last few weeks, I feel the contrary. Abhay needs to get out of this Deepika mess and focus on his career - she currently doesn't deserve this man!

Couldn't agree with you more. With what Abhay experienced with his relationship with Sia, and his parents' relationship, it's pretty ridiculous for him to try to tell Deepika that she also has feelings for him. He may not have a lot of experience with love, but I think at this stage he should be well aware that you can't force love. You are so right about Vikrant being a snake, a lot of the audience also seem fooled by him, but that's precisely why they chose Rohit for the role! Many abusers in real life are well versed in using charm and sympathy to get what they want to gaslight their victims into feeling bad.

Butchering the lead especially the male lead for the 2nd male lead is a favourite creativity of all producers ...I dont why butchering any charachters is really needed...and yes it as I said I wont entertain any sort of madness in any charachter, be it Abhay my fav charachter ...he should learn patience now ...else bhagwan naa kare he becomes the second 'Vikrant' 😱😱😱😱...bhagwan naa kare esa kuch ho...

Oh you just read my mind! I agree with everything! Like I said, Abhay's projection was really out of his character today..but this man actually got all the signals, like u said, nd later stopped after her rude rejection at the end..Had he kept forcing her even after that nd run behind her (like Vikrant has been doing), I would've had problem! Nd yes actually, it's not Deepika whom Abhay doesn't deserve, it's rather Abhay whom Deepika doesn't deserve..Abhay really deserves better! Though Abhay has been correct in his judgement about ViPika's affair (as viewers r also saying the same thing as Abhay), I'm sure once he gets to know their past, he is the one who'll symphathize with Deepika! Abhay has no right to accused someone of being in EMA after getting rejection .
