From what I can understand, Abhay might have thought something serious is going on between D&V even after he warned D that V isn't a good person.

He might have gone to blame D of being a 2nd woman & not thinking'bt V's wife & maybe kids(since ofcourse he doesn't know'bt V & Aditi) and
