Now that Shankhachud is about to attack Shiva .. I just turned the pages of Shiv Puran and came across a very interesting event that happens During the War between Shiva and Shankhachud...

nd the event states that Kartikeya died during this war and was resurrected by Shiva

the excerpts from the book-

"When Kartikeya raised his own bow of power to shoot at Shankhachud, quick as the time the Daanav smashed his weapon in his hand.another missile felled Skanda's peacock. Then shining like a sun. Then, shining like a sun and screaming like a tornado, a javelin given to the Demon by Brahma, took Kumara in the chest and he fell splitting blood, DEAD...!! With a wail, Kali, who was gorging and drinking bloodily among the Danavs, picked up the limp Kartikeya. She ran with him to Siva, who gave his son life again with a touch "

now thre... tis is interesting and may trigger Parvati's Kali form.

[ Also a rquest that Kindly DO Not consider Kali's wailing and Kartikeya's momentary deaths as WEAKNESSES as most of people here love to do...!! ]

so this makes the whole war interesting...moreover i hope its between Shiv and Shankhachud and Parvati (Kali) focuses more on destroying the armies (as according to the story she led the Gana army) rather turning it into Shankhachud v. Parvati

@ Kaatyani:
Is your Shiv Puran, the book written by Ramesh Menon?

I have the ebook version of that 😊

Shankhachuda's battle with Shiva has been described in a lot of detail and indeed, it is very interesting.

I wonder what they will show about Tulsi in DKDM...in Menon's book Vishnu destroys the chastity of Tulsi - very similar to the Vrinda story.

yes yes..Ramesh Menon's , It was a beautiful gift to me.. and yes the battles and many more things are described in the most detailed, exquisite manner 😉

as regards to Tulsi and Vrinda.. their violations have been described in the most gory manner..i felt angry at the perpetrator.. this is by far the most picturesque description of Shiv Puran.. the Hindi translations lack this explicitness
