HI, Am new to this. But just have following comments :
1. Sati is supposed to be a princess who is dancing
in front of her father and various dignitaries -
so why did the choreographer give her expressions
more like that of a nautch girl/courtesan (almost
Rekha in Umrao Jaan or Madhuri Dixit in Devdas).
There is a vast difference in the type of
expressions and movements that a person who is a
princess just poised at the point of reaching
marriageable age would project, as compared to a
seasoned courtesan.

The choreographer should have kept in mind that
it is an avatar of the Goddess who is dancing,
and she would definitely not have such type of
expressions etc while dancing in front of her
father of all people !!

Moreover, it is reported that Mouni Roy is an
accomplished dancer with training in classical,
so why does the choreographer give her steps that
are more for a person who does not know how to dance?

2. The saga of Shiv And Shakti is perhaps the most
powerful saga, anywhere. The channel has based on
Purans etc, but obviously they are adding a lot of
fictional parts. Very cliched situations are being
created again and again. The Purans etc are very rich and have varied stories.

When they started out and for quite sometime after that they managed to keep the quality of the serial at a high level. SOmewhere from the Ramayan track onwards, the quality slowly started going down. In fact the Mahalsa track was actually saved by some stupendous acting by Sudesh Berry as Malla and Mani.

Instead of improving the quality of the storyline, it looks like they are going to try and cash in on the reported personal relationship between the lead actors, by planting stories in the papers etc etc. Even the make up department is not working to the optimum

I wonder why no Indian show is able to sustain a high level of quality - if you compare to some English shows which have been running for years, there the quality of the storyline, make up, action and acting just keep getting better.

After watching this heart has only one thing to say... Kya prem aise pratibhashit hota hain??Is this true love?Does love define like this??

Love is purely unconditional.. it cannot be defined. Here, though Sati is an incarnation of Adi Shakti, the reason for her incarnation is not only to meet Lord Shiva, but also to teach True Devotion & Spirituality to the whole world! In the Spiritual sense, she depicts herself as the Soul, since she has taken birth as a human, she behaves like a human.

She portrays the forgetfulness of the soul... how the soul forgets that it is has always been & will always be the part of the Supersoul i.e. God. That's why she is not able to remember who she actually is, Shakti... that we all souls r... we r all part of God, we r Prakriti, His Shakti in essence, but due to the influence of Maya, i.e. Illusion, we get separated from Him, our Real Identity. Although, just like Sati has portrayed here, we do feel a connectivity with the Divine, but that connect is not complete until & unless we develop the Intensity of Love, Devotion & Surrender that Sati, the Greatest Devotee of Lord Shiva, has for Him! And to develop this degree of Love, Devotion & Surrender, is the responsibility and duty & Sole Purpose of each & every soul in this human birth! That itself is only possible when a human being, thru meditation & devotion, regains the Purity of Soul, that is required to reach Him.

As Swami Vivekanand, the Youth Icon of & one of the Greatest Saints of India, has so clearly stated the Purpose of Human Life in just one line: GOD is to be worshipped as the one beloved, dearer than everything in this and next life.

Lord Shiva, on the other hand, portrays the immense restlessness of God to meet His part, the soul, which has separated from Him because of the thick veil of Illusion that this materialistic world & sense pleasures have put on all of us humans, since we all r part of Him just like every drop of the Ocean is part of the Ocean only! God is always guiding us, showing us the path that takes us towards Him, but we, due to our Ignorance, never pay heed to follow that path that takes us to Him.

So, this is the essential massage that has to be delivered to the world, for spiritual upliftment of humanity, because of which God, even though He is One, plays His Divine Play... by separating Himself into two different forms... like Shiv Sati, Shiv Parvati, Radha Krishna...❤️

@bold agree with this part im also felt such sensuous expressions looked unnecessary/forced

@red IMO its the duration sholud depend on story/script not the script depends on duraion thats where loss of quality becomes unavoidable
