Parvati Devi tells Kartikeya that Ganesh, surya and Markandeya were brought back to life because they were needed by the world. Their presence was needed for balanced functioning, But bringing a normal human to life will break natures laws and it is not possible

Kartikeya says isint my promise of not any meaning?

Parvati Says you should have thought about that before giving the promise. The promise which your father cannot give, The promise that your Mother cannot give how can you give that promise?

Kartikeya says I had this conviction that no matter what my mother will always stand by me
