Yes, Both dev and asurs, and gods have divine power to carry out their responsibilities or their wishes. But human attain divinity by his sheer hard work and devotion. He is the most important living being simply because it is around him that god plays his leela and creates this universe. That is why to sustain humanity and life, god has given human the power of being rational and to apply logic and reasoning. This leads him to think, feel and get influence by forces - evil or good.

In fact, ability to think and feel and control on his 6 senses in him, his sheer concentration and power to meditate and ability to focus, makes him greater then gods. But more then that and above all, power to forgive and to feel compassion makes him God since god cannot forgive any evil deeds. One must suffer his own evil doing or karms. That is why gods have limitations but humans are not bound by any such limitation. They are free to forget and forgive easily.

are you saying that God never forgives or they have do not have the ability to forgive?

oh they have the ability to forgive but the bad deeds have to be paid for then only a moksh from cycle of birth is possible whatever debt a person owes this brahmand has to be paid off whether in this birth or next but he has to be completley free of his debt. Even gods are bound by the rules of adi shakti the maha maya goddess, the supreme being or the parameshwari but humans are not bound by this limitation or rather condition they forgive a person unconditionally humans are even greater they forget others sins too. 😆 But gods cannot do that Chitragupt assistant of Yamraj is writing each and every action we take place and when we reach narak we will be asked explainations about what we did on earth in our last life. Accordingly we will be punished and then again sent to earth to pay for our sins and whatever debt we owe to this prakriti. Then when we have paid off every debt then god will reward us forgive us and we will become one with him.

Dear, according to Sanatan Hindu dharma our Gods are Paramkarumay...

They forgive us to the extreme limit..

When a God perishes His own creation in (According to Hindu texts) it only means that the sin is not bearable anymore..that is beyond forgiveness..

Yes I know during middle age or Madhya yug (the time of darkness) the characters of our Gods were bit altered they were not that compassionate instead bit cruel, they used to punish and curse human beings without no valid reasons..I think the darkness of human mind created Gods like this..

But the Glorious Hindu Dharma was never like that..It's true people has to bear the weight of his wrong deeds but doesn't our Dharma showed Gods also bear the fruit of their misdeeds? (story og Vrinda and Her deity Narayan prooves this)...

The point is our Gods are always compassionate they are less like Gods more like our parents..Our Gods gets angry when there is no way to forgive..otherwise which parent want to perish His own children?

Ofcourse gods are compassionate. The puranic kathayen are full of it like you mentioned even devtas too bear the burden of their wrong doings. Even Shiv had to pay for killing a brahma, his 5th head and killing a brahman is considered a most sinnest sin so he also paid as bhikhshatan god roaming around the world, begging.

He is the lord so he punishes as well as rewards them and also protects them but he has to destroy as well when sins increase but when life is over then also he puts them to death. That is why I said that he is like a machines doing what he has to do he's bound by limitations of rules of his own making where he forgives but cannot undo the karm of people but humans are not bound by such rules they don't look after such rules they cannot control such rules, they are not righting or calculating anyone's sins on a book, therefore, it is very easy for them to forget and forgive.

Like Jesus said when he was crucified that "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing." I am taking here Jesus as human not son of god.
