thank you for agreeing wid me😊. i have loved ranbir a lot in mostly every role he did but if you see his filmography, he has played a romantic lover in most of his movies. doing shiva's role, be it from a novel, is a challenge because apart from acting skills, one need to have the right type of body and features to look the part.

Mahadev to me only means Mohit. I cannot see any other person playing Lord Shiva's role. After Mohit I could see Hrithik don the role.

Hrithik is good looking as Mohit has the same build and height. He would have been perfect for the role after Mohit, But Ranbir does not fit the role. He is way to young to take on a role of this immense nature. He has lover boy looks not godly looks. Which I feel that Mohit and Hrithik have. Why could the makers not have taken Mohit makes a lot of sense to me, He is the best and only choice for this role

how can he play Shiva??

I can't imagine him as Mahadev in my mind

none of the bollywood big stars have the persona to portray a god like shiva. some stars have good physique but dont have the appropriate face or acting skills to match up to the level to play shiva's character, some have the acting skills but can never look the part aka shiva.

why do u think mohit is so successful and people cant even imagine anybody but him when it comes to shiva? mohit has extraordinary good looks and physique but he can also look like a common person at the same time. he has the acting skills to make us viewers feel like he is the real mahadev. i doubt that it that anyone from bollywood can actually pull off what mohit has pulled off. shiva's character oozes with raw intensity and serenity at the same time.

Completely agree with you.

No one is perfect in Bollywood.

They must give chance to Mohit.Then film will be super hit.

sure. u r so right abt that. mohit is tailor made for the role of shiva. but still so far mohit as a telly actor is concerned i think he should also try other shows along with mahadev or he is gonna be stereotyped. 😊

After Reading the Shiva trilogy book I told my best friend even Hritik can't take his place..

But After Mohit if anyone can play Lord Shiva..that's only Hritik...i guess
