Drawing roompart is very good..parvati and sons came for a dinner to hanumaan s home...
Ram sita are busy in shopping..but sita is princess...everyone knows her..does she shop freely like this??who knows??
As i have seen, inder is shown as villian in earlier episodes..wonder swarg lok me bhi corruption chalti hai!!!!
I do nt like the cap or hat of ravvan...it makes him cartoonish...
Urmilla s entry is unique in mahadev...
Kid hanumaan is so cute...but his mother is very good actor...

Sonia, thanks. Yeah, finally Anjani provided food to Parvati and sons. They came to meet Hanuman, but that did not work out. So at least Ganesh got good food and Parvati/Anjani were able to gossip.

If Indra is the King, corruption will definitely will be there in swarg lok. Look at how many crimes Indra gets away with. He gets slapped a little bit on his wrist, apologizes and then goes back to his old habbits. He is a pure Indian politician.

Not only Raavan's hat, his characterization is making him very cartoonish. Raavan is the main antagonist of Ramayan, but they have made him the worst. Meghnad is not much better either. I really hope that they make these two characters gripping, otherwise Ramayan will end up falling flat at the end.

I liked Urmila's entry as for the first time as usually there is no role for her or she is shown as a very uninteresting character.

The actor playing Anjani is good and the kid is cute. Hope the adult actor is chosen appropriately.

Angie thanks for the analysis. I have not watched yesterday's episode so I can't comment on that but in day before yesterday's episode Mahadev was reminding me of my father. I mean the way Mahadev insured that Parvati is kept busy visiting baby hanuman so that he can watch Ram-Sita romance is very similar to how my father insures that my mother is kept busy doing something that she likes so that she is not around to disturb him when he sits in peace and watchs his important football matches on TV.šŸ˜‰

šŸ˜† Misti, your father is so wise. I was also very amused by that scene. First he discourages Parvati of them going for visit to sons and DILs. Then he happily sends them to Kishkindha while he stays back to enjoy Ram-Sita romance. Yesterday too, he was looking indulgently at their meeting in the market place.

I liked the whirlwind called Urmila. Anyway, I have always liked Urmila in Ramayan and have always considered her to be the most neglected character in Ramayan. I am actually missing the hot tempered Laxman. Wonder when will they show that Lakshman to us. But I am completely disliking their one dimensional caricatured Ravan.

I too liked how they are portraying Urmila. She was probably never given the importance because she stayed back instead of going with Lakshman the way Sita did. But she suffered so much too for 14 years.

I don't know why Lakshman is being ignored so much. I want to see hot-tempered Laxman. Raavan and now even Meghnad are getting on my nerves. I start losing interest whenever they show Raavan. I had watched few episodes last year when they had shown Raavan. That Raavan was complex - his ego, insecurity combined with his devotion to Shiv was really shown well. So I was anticipating seeing Manish Wadwa's Raavan and his clashes with Rubina's Sita. Hope they improve the script. Otherwise the second part of Ramayan will not be interesting.

Sita has partially got a new dress. I think that she is still wearing the same blouse. So Ram is trying to convince himself that the dhanush is more important than Sita. šŸ˜‰. The market scene was very amusing with all the wind chimes and everything and I liked it. Rubina had a priceless expression on her face when Ram's expression changed from that of smiling to one of seriousness.
Misti, yes to everything you have written here. But I was happy that at least they gave her a new lehnga. I too liked the market scene. I was getting a memory of another character from another show at this scene and was imagining him in place of Piyush.

Romi, thanks. One needs to develop a sense of humor while watching TV shows. Mahadev plays with mythology, but the CVs here are much better compared to other mythological shows I have partially seen on TV. I just wish that they improve characterization of Raavan as he has become very boring and cartoonish.

Akhl, the web link does not work. I don't know of any version where Urmila has been given much importance.

actually there was a poem written on Urmilla's feelings for her husband it was in the text book when I was studying beautiful poem in hindi I don't remember who was the writer of that poem.

Apart from this I have never read or heard any thing about Urmilla's feelings when Laxman left her to be with Shri Ram and Shri Sitaji

Hey Guys šŸ˜ƒšŸ˜† I found it

The poem was known as Urmila and it was written by Maithili Sharan Gupt

His famous work Saket revolves around Urmila, wife of Lakshmana, from Ramayana, while another of his works Yashodhara revolves around Yashodhara, the wife of Gautama Buddha.[citation needed]

and in College I read a poem on Draupdi as well.😃

He is so misguided that he is misguiding the whole world with his crap 🤢😔

Rasya, I have mixed feelings about this version of Ramayan. But then I had mixed feelings even when I watched some episodes of Mahadev on and off last year and this year too. I have just started watching Mahadev from the beginning. The script was definitely much tighter in the first couple of months with a lot of attention paid to even minor characters. Now this is not the case as is usual with most daily soaps that have been running for a while. I do hope that they tighten up the script for Ramayan as some characterizations have interested me.

I am somewhat confused about the baby Hanuman part. But I think they are showing all of this stuff in flashback either through Anjani or through Mahadev. So more than likely, it is grown up Hanuman at this time who is similar in age to Ram.

As far as all these stories are concerned, I look at interpretations and watch an episode if it is interesting. In Mahadev, I have liked some and do not like others. So far I have liked Urmila and Sita's characterization, interpretation of relationship between Janak and Sita, interaction of Manthra and Naarad, and connection between Ram and Sita. I am also liking relationship between Anjani and Hanuman with stories of little Hanuman. But I have major problems with how they have shown Raavan and Meghnad. The minor irritations I can ignore in the name of melodrama and artistic license.

My feelings exactly which is why I have stopped watching it now but I do come to this forum as you guys are so informative I love reading your views and feels so damn good.

After I read I google for information and post here or whatever little I know about purans till last year I had a view that younger generation is not interested in Indian ved and sacred holy textx but since Last year I have been in contact with as young as 16 yr old boys with full blasted knowledge of veds and vaidant adwaita my gosh 😲 even I had no knowledge about things that they gave me šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘ since then I have started thinking very highly of Indian youth hats off to them šŸ‘

This serial was too engaging in th ebegiging I used to get goose bumps from the begingin till parwati's marriage I saw all the episodes in just 4 days 24 7 I became that crazy I saw this may 2013 before that I first came to know about this serial when ganesh ji was fighting with shiv ji I got hooked and then I used to was on and off if the story was ibnteresting then I wud watch otherwise not now I dont like this ramayan so I am not goign to watch mahadev where he was not there to perform any role this dkdm has become crap

šŸ˜† I am sure even real mahadev doesnt know the answer that why the producer and the writer is sending his family to kashikandha 🤣 he is as baffled as us

but if vishnu ji is not there laxmi ji is not there then what is the point of shiv family to go there doesnt the writer know that kisi ke ghar bina kisi ke ijazat ke ghusna buri baat hai esp when the hosts are not there to host their guests šŸ˜†šŸ˜†šŸ˜†
