Hi, Friends 😊
Nostalgic, heard of this thing first
YES 😉
then you are right

We, use to get this as an exercise in our Workbooks at school 😛😃
So, I thought, why not we do it, ONCE AGAIN 😛

Hence I brought this Game 😉

Let's play, 'Find the ODD MAN Out' 😊

RULES
are SIMPLE 😊

One member will post only 4 options, out of which 3 should be same, and the remaining one should be different. The next member will have to identify the ODD MAN, with reason specified. And the same will post the next options.

For example,

Member A :- Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Auckland
Member B:- ODD MAN OUT:- Auckland. Reason:- Auckland city is in New Zealand, while the rest are situated in Australia.
Member B :- Rudra, Pashupatinath, Chandrashekhar, Vyankatesh.

And Vice- Versa

So everyone got it 😉,

Enjoy GAMING 😃😊

P.S. :- My username is changed
Earlier my username was smiley4567 when I gave my name for the GOTW,
but now my username is kalyani_shiva

Sharabh - rest all are Ganesha's names. Sharabha is Lord SHiva's avatara. Incidentally, Sharabha is also the Indian Dragon.

Next: Muruga, Pazhaniappan, Velavan, Pillaiyar (All Tamil names, you may have to google them)😆

All the other names are of Kartikeya, but Pillayar is the name of Lord Ganesha in Tamil which means small brother.

next:-

You gave five options!😆
But that is easy. Amsterdam, the rest are in India.

Not sure if I am correct - I think silver, lead, potassium are elements, but tin is alloy?

Here are four others: eliachi, dhaniya, laung, papad

Hello people!

@bhakti2: Nice try but tin is also an element, not an alloy.

I'll take a stab at the chemistry question: I think potassium is the odd one out of the list. Silver, tin, lead, and potassium are all metals, but potassium is the only one of these that is an alkali metal and has properties such as being sensitive to air.
@Surya, is potassium the answer you had in mind?

And my answer to bhakti2's question is papad. All four are edible items but elaichi, dhaniya and laung all come straight from plants and are one ingredient themselves, whereas papads are made from combining several ingredients.

If my answers are correct, the next four are:
Sukarma the fisherman, Maharaj Himavan, Asursresht Kalnemi, Daksh Prajapati.

(PS. Please don't just say Kalnemi because he is an asur! Think about other things they may or may not have in common.) 😊

Actually I was thinking that all others are metals which are more reactive than hydrogen, while silver is an inert metal - it reacts only with Gold (Au). ANyways, I don't know what you said, abt the metal being an alkali. We have not yet learnt that chapter..😆

Anyways, is your answer Asurshresht Kalanami?😆
Not because he was an asura, but because all the others had Lord SHiva as their son in law, whereas Kalanemi had only Shivansh Jalandhar.

^^ Surya, so the chemistry question is because you are studying it, I see! 😊 You have to be careful with questions like that because they can be answered in a few different ways, like your intended answer and the one I gave, which are both correct. 😊 Alkali metals are the name given to all the elements in Group 1 of the Periodic Table except for hydrogen.

Moving on, yes, your answer to my question and the reasoning is correct. ⭐️

Next question please!
