Marriages in DKDM

Given the umpteen number of marriages they have shown in DKDM, one would have thought the CVs would have liked to show more variety in the style.

I mean, Mahadev -Parvati's wedding was shown in the, I think, North Indian style.

Since the legend of Ashoksundari is popular in Gujrat, the CVs could given her a Gujrati wedding. Bappa of, course being most popular in Maharashtra ought to have got a Marathi wedding...

And...would it be too much to expect a solid Tamil wedding for our Murugan????? Oonjal (swing ceremony)...Nalangu?????

Actually, they showed Mahadev & Parvati's second wedding to be a Marathi wedding - y'know, the crown of beads and so on? The one where Parvati was Matsyakanya (not Jallu's mom)

But I agree w/ you - they should have varied the wedding styles and followed the different customs based on the regions. For Mahadev-Parvati's punar vivah - the one suggested by Ganesh b4 the gajra & Jalandhar track started, they could have conflated a few customs here & there.

And for Shiva-Mohini, I'd like them to show a Kerela style Gandharva marriage 😆 b4 Manikantan is born

I agree with you in this matter.

They should have shown Ashoksundari wedding in Gujarati style as she is more popular in Gujarat and there are many folktales associated with her.

But they will not show the wedding of Kartikeya in South India style as South indian happens at night weddings happen at night(Personal family experience) as they only follow their own made DKDM Purana😆.

Tamil weddings happen at early (really early) morning... So maybe they could show that... Like half the people are sleepy, but you have to say the mantras...

Oonjal? That means Parvati and all the other mamis will do Drishtisutthifying and all? Who will sing Seetha Kalyana (or whatever needs to be sung at THAT Yuga)?

yeah i would love to watch Tamil wedding in DKDM but will they show Kartikeya's wedding anyway🤔dont wanna repeat myself again already posted same point in some other threadTamil wedding in DKDM is new addition in my wishlist along with KK n MM stories but i know these are all just
