How would Saurbh be playing Lord Ram in two shows When Lord Ram is only shown in Ramayan and he be playing Lord Krishna during Mahabharat show.. Don't understand why you said Lord Ram in two shows. Different Avatar of Lord Vishnu during different Yuga.

Actually there wasn any necessity to show ramayan in dkdm.. There are other plenty of stories of lord shiv from the puranas. They cud hv show something unknwn to viewers like the sati story.!

I won't be quitting this forum, but I will stop watching if they go to full blown Ramayan - I'm NOT interested in seeing Mohit play Hanuman. Also, if they do that, then just like they showed Jalandhar as larger than life, they'll show Hanuman as overshadowing Rama, since Mohit can't be anything but the lead in this serial. This would be different from Hanuman-centric serials like Mahaveer Hanuman or Baal Hanuman - it would be something not centered either around Hanuman nor Rama, but would have Hanuman overshadowing him. Also, it's not a part of Shaivya belief that Mahadev was Rama's bhakt (actually, IIRC, it's not even in Valmiki - it's a Tulsidas invention).

But since on Friday, they showed Nahusha becoming the ruler of the devas, this is a golden opportunity to show that story, from any POV that they like. Since they have completely vilified Indra in this serial, they can cooly airbrush/gloss over what Nahusha tried doing w/ Sachi, and just show a few episodes of him ruling the devas well until that journey where he becomes a snake. I'd also like them to show the Ayappa story - it would be a lot more fun, and you wouldn't need Saurabh here - you could have Ojaswi Oberoi, who played Mohini last time, return and play both Mohini, as well as the male Vishnu role. 😆

Vrish I would like to see Ayyapa story but I dnt think they will show in DKDM. Ramayan is for a month and I dnt want Mohit as Hanuman either because just like the Jalandhar story everything will become Hanuman centric like it was with J story and it will become boring.
Ram will become the second lead if Mohit plays Ram just like it happened with Mahadev.

Rama can't be played by Mohit, since he wasn't a Shiva avatar. Actually, I happen to think that ansh avatars shouldn't be played by the original actor, but that's just me: Saurabh playing Rama or Krishna is not the same as Mohit playing Jalandhar or Hanuman. I too wish that Saurabh stayed, and that the Mahabharat team took Vishal Karwal to play Krishna's role again - he did great in DBSK, even if the serial itself tanked.
But one thing more - I don't like the commentary roles being played here - whether it's by Vishnu & Narada in Vaikuntha in this serial, or in the Ramayan serial, by Shiva & Parvati in yesterday's episode. I much prefer that the alternate deities only come in when they are actually a part of the story.
