J track never worked for me...cos.there were TOO many distortions and what was actually important was left out...mohits act though was top notch

Well I'd like to chip in here and make some things clear Oonagh ji!

Firstly, we DO NOT know reality about anything per se! So we can't say with surity what Jalandhar was like, he was pure evil with no bone of goodness in him etc.

Secondly, CVs take creative liberty in many things! For eg. I find romance scenes between Shiv-Parvati and some family bonding scenes between Ganesha and Shiv-Parvati kind of filmy. So to each his own. Jalandhar track is NOT the only one in DKDM where they have taken any liberty.

Thirdly, Jalandhar track is a super success and this is not only proven online but also on TRP chart. The last week it entered in Top ten on TRP chart and it dropped as soon as Jalandhar track ended!
DKDM has been running for long time now but no major national media covered it earlier as much as it did NOW - from national mags like India Today to major film mags like Cine Blitz! It's all result of popularity that skyrocketed in Jalandhar track.

In real life also I myself am a newly converted "regular" viewer of DKDM since Jalandhar track started (otherwisre I'd watch the show irregularly). And so is my immediate and extended family. I've seen people even at shops glued to TV screens during Jalandhar track when we used to go to market in evening!

Major national newspapers like HT, TOI and Hindi/regional papers were screaming Mahadev & Mahashatru Jalandhar throughout these months!

DKDM is the first ever mytho and first ever non-romantic fictional show to trend on Twitter India. No mean feat this!

Jalandhar & Mahadev hoardings and posters were in every city - small or metro across all states of India - including states like Punjab even! I've seen it all in reality.

The track was a super success and took DKDM popularity to new heights. People at large weren't even properly aware of existence of a character named Jalandhar! DKDM made it popular and so did MR with his fine portrayal!

Even online, the rankings of DKDM dropping soon after Jalandhar's end show what Jalandhar meant to the public.

And the overflow of Jalandhar analysis, feedback, tributes, blogs, artwork, videos etc. to Life OK and DKDM team from all quarters proves what a success this track has been.

FYI, NO other fictional show ever got such popularity online except romantic ones in last few years. DKDM is the first mytho show to get such popularity and it was an all time high during Jalandhar track. Even online popularity is not easy to earn for any show esp a mytho show!

Truth is truth and facts and facts. DKDM track's story might be debatable but its success is there for all to see.

Finally got to see Ravan do his evil best and I am quite liking this Ravan guys. For once he does what he is doing best and second he does not go gooey eyed over Mahadev and neither does he pant when he takes Mahadev's name. Secondly I loved the part when Nandi cursed him was waiting for htat for a long time and lastly when Mahadev put his foot down curshed his fingers.

J track is over...why are still you'll getting upset?
I loose Js track was a SUPER HIT...
