@ bold: I didn't get your point. And I think Nahush was responsible for rains. After all, one of the functions of Indra is rain-making😆 (Scientists would dissaprove)
And if I am correct, Indra and Devaraj mean the same thing: Indra is also a title. Our present Indra's real name is Purandara. This point is according to Bhagavatam, where Suka lists the different Indras of Manvantaras.
