India is full of so many beautiful languages I wish besides hindi I could speak atleast 15-20 more Indian languages 😆
pity our useless government never encouraged Indians learn other languages besides their own mother or state language
but hats of to those who speak and write more then 4-5 languages
I wish I could speak and understand sanskrit 😒 so that I would have read purans and other sacred texts but today';s generation is getting interested in their ancient roots and that is something we should all be proud of thanks to so many Ancinet Indian SHows 👏

Hey Rasyafan...I too want to learn more languages especially the south indian languages..they are so unique! I did take sanskrit when I was in school but then gave it up at that age (13yrs old) I found it tad boring and now i feel why I ever left it..😕

BTw do you know which bhagwad geeta version is closest to the original? as I have the Iskcon version of bhagwad geeta...but i dont knw whether everything in it is accurate..

one thing because in Iskcon they introduce Lord Shiva as the most favorite devotee of lord Krishna..which i think is not true..

vishnu/krishna and shiv and brahmaji are all at par with each other no one is lower than another and all three have mutual respect and admiration towards each other..

Rohit Bharadwaj is reading books to be Yudhishtir

Rohit Bharadwaj is reading books to be Yudhishtir
Rohit BharadwajMore Pics
Rohit Bharadwaj who was last seen as Megha's dead first husband in Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha season one and also Navya simultaneously, will be seen as Dharamraj Yudhisthir as per sources associated with project.

Post Navya he has been patiently waiting for this project. As per sources, they have been having workshops to get into the character. Yudhishtir is the head of the Pandavs.

He says, "Initially I had a different outlook towards the Dharamraj Yudhishtir but I have been reading three books on him simultaneously and my perception totally changed. It makes a good visual. Knowledge of Mahabharat is very important. Producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary's has a great vision and it's his interpretation of Mahabharat. First time I am doing a mythological and it seems very exciting. To do a costume drama is so different from donig a regular soap."

€œI wanted a larger than life war theme which sums up the story of Mahabharat€- Siddharth Kumar Tewary

Ismail Darbar creates a special war theme for Star Plus€™ Mahabharat As is well known that producer and creative director of Swastik productions Siddharth Kumar Tewary is leaving no stone unturned to make his dream project a blockbuster.

He has ensured that they have all the big names from the various walks of life to be associated with the epic. The latest we hear is that the war theme for Mahabharat is composed by none other than Ismail Darbar who has given Indian Cinema some of the most melodious tracks. Commenting on this wonderful association, producer/ creator Siddharth Kumar Tewary said, €œI wanted a larger than life war theme which sums up the story of Mahabharat. I couldn€™t think of anyone but Mr. Ismail Darbar, he has his own unique sound and the kind of effort he put in is commendable.

The theme track is haunting and I believe it will last foreverTune-in to Mahabharat starting from 16th September 2013 at 8:30 pm only on Star Plus.

I know even I studied sanskrit in school for three years but even then I was interested only thing is I found it very very tough so gave it up I think how a teacher takes an interest in teaching is the reason for a students interest to be developed

No for Ram his ardhyadev was Shiv and for Shiv his Aradhyadev us Vishnu Narayan
that is true
I think In Dwapar yug, Shiv played a very little role that is why there was little contact between Shiv and krishanji that is why you are doubting
DKDM is showing their own version just watch it ddon't believe in it they have twisted the whole shiv purans it is not true

The top two Supreme gods are shiv and Vishnu but among them I think it is Shiv because Shiv appeared in front of Vishnu and Brahma as a pillar and then told them that he is ajanama and nirguna etc

but I think the supremebeing is Adi Shakti the ultimate god is female the shakti because only a female shakti has a power to create and male shakti gets formed through only female shakti
not even Vishnu and Brahma are fully aware of the workings of the adi shakti

say this because of reasons

First when a female shakti was required to kill mahishasur or may be some other demon they used to invoke adi shakti once all the devs including trinity gods called out aummm so that adi shakti appeared in front fo them as goddess Durga she was given and gifted diff weapons to fight

Second reason is that once Adi Shakti took the trinity gods with her for a trip to whole Brahmaand there she uncovered a secret in front of them about which not even Brahma Vishnu Mahesh knew
and All of them were on board her vehicle either that or a pushpak viman, there she showed them that they are travelling in space and they are going from one universe to other universe to some more universes each universe contains it's own same trinity gods demi gods sun planets starts earth same humans same species everything same She said that each universe I create for 14 times and each universe after kalyug I destroy etc etc etc this was from Bhagwad Puran. If you read it na you fell so much for these stories that you virtually start living at that time I get so engrossed

I have read Shiv Puran and in it I read that it is female shakti who divided herself into two parts and the male part became Ishwara also known as Rudra and Female part became ishwari also known as Adi Shakti

even Shiv Puran says that shiv is shav (corpse) without his shakti that is why it was v v important and necessary for him to marry Sati and Parwati
even though being a yogi he did not want to

This Shiv Puran is printed in Kashi I dont have it any more I have given it to my cousin to read she has read Geeta press version which is not good I read some of vishnu Puran from Geeta Press I did not like either the language or their expressions

though books of Geeta press are very famous

My nana ji used to read books printed by Kalyan press but I have no idea if they still print books

Try Kashi press let me find out then I will let you know

hey i speak gujarathi too because i am married to a gujarathi..😃

yes actually there is very limited viewership on gujju channels..as most of the gujju ladies watch hindi serials...and the quality and content of teh gujarathi serails is not to par ...whereas the quality and content of bengali, south infdian and marathi serials is really good.

so if the gujarathi producers/writers/directors improve the quality and content of gujarathi serials then tehy would get the veiwership tooo.

i love the gujarathi dramas..they are very rich in tehir quality and content..
