It's mostly a humorous suggestion plus the idea was for a little cameo not a full fledged role. Assuming the show goes on air anytime soon, it would happen concurrently with DKDM. There is therefore no question of Mohit playing Shiva post DKDM in this scenario.

whr r his fans
btw in mahabharat shiv's role is of mostly a cameo..except giving boon to Amba for taking revenge on Visma , .and meeting Arjun as Kirat and giving pashupat to him..Shiva had nothing to do in Mahabharat

and Parvati had absolutely no work in Mahabharat..so Mohit easily can play a cameo
