Maybe the elephant has a longer role now. Or, more likely, this time it won't be shown on its own but it will be sharing screen space with a human actor. Maybe that's why they brought in an actual elephant (actor interacting with a CGI elephant won't look good given the quality of the CGI).

It might be easier to use actual elephant while shooting and add effects to it later..in tamil movie Shivaji, Rajini was made to look fair for a song with a lot of effects.

Agreed..they might add the effects later..it will be good to see Jalandhar holding and riding the real elephant..rather than riding a toy car..!! 😆

Only I m wondering how will Jallu manage to steal such a huge elephant..??
