That is one thoughtful thought.. 😕 🤓

And now I feel Mahadev will surely say something like this tomo..

@ bold: I feel thats not enough...at least for Parvati. Agree, she is part of Mahadev but she is also a WIFE. And a wife expecting some attention and love/romance from her husband...is it too much to ask? I wonder.

I understand what you are saying. But in the modern world the same thing is perceived "taking each other for granted". My husband and I are married for 9 years now...and now its like we know we love each other...so we just take each other for granted...we dont express it often. And thats where we start losing out on the romance...

From all the above posts what i gather is " Shiva and Parvathi can't be separated as they are one and if one among them is sad then that means both are sad. Parvati loving Shiva also means Shiva loving Parvati as they can't be seperated.

Please do tell if its the true meaning.

Why? Why does Parvathi thinks he needs to do away with Vairagya ( I mean did the creatives give a reason? ).

I don't think she meant do away with vairagya. The very fact that he loves her to the core doesn't make him Viraagi any more. With out his Vairagya the whole universe will be raging with the vaasanas ans arishadvargas. She meant anasakta ( may be ?? ). He is not interested. This was shown beautifully Shiva's conflict with himself. He came to conclusion he will do it because he has to ( his dharma). Her point is shouldn't he be? This is his samsara. His kids, his wife, his responsibilities. He does his duty as a husband because he needs to. She is saying, do it because you want it. And Shiva is above and beyond the want and need. She is the symbolism of the samsara and he is the paramapada. It is beautiful tug of war of principles. In a way one beseeches the other...

I am yet to see today's episode so I may have jumped to conclusion...

I beg to differ. It is not as if after a few years of marriage we do not express our love. Only, the way of expression is different.

It becomes less expressive and more subtle. It shows in the tiniest way - like - when I come home late from work and he gets restless... when I am travelling alone and he expects me to message him every half hour...When I know he's had a tough day at work...

@ bold, this is what she meant.
For anasakta Shivji what Paravti is feeling is her Moha, she thinks he is not with her, if she gives up this Moha, she'll realise, he is always with her, will no longer be unhappy. His discourse explains this very well.

Considering his discourse this is what I understood.
Love =aasakti, Vairagya=anasakti but if Love= anaskti, then there is no need of anasakti. Love itself is liberation. Love for God, From Jeeva to Shiva is liberation.
For Paravti her Love= Shiva & for Shivji her Love= Parvati. So she shouldn't be sad.
