@ bold, this is what she meant.
For anasakta Shivji what Paravti is feeling is her Moha, she thinks he is not with her, if she gives up this Moha, she'll realise, he is always with her, will no longer be unhappy. His discourse explains this very well.

I can't wait to see the episode. What an wonderful thing though.. The Mohanashani herself succumbed to it. Every one says one should not succumb to the vasanaas and arishadvargas. How can I over come them if I don't know what those are? And How do I get over them? This gave rise to Shiva letting the world know how can they be conquered. Made me smile though.. In lalitha sahasranamam she is described as : Shivaa Swadhina Vallabha" ; meaning Shiva ' She who is the personification of Lord Shiva and Swadheena Vallabha ' She whose husband obeys her. If Parvathi is wondering then we mortals have no chance.😊

I am sure he will do what ever it takes to make her happy because that is who he is, bhakta sulabha. Parvathi first and fore most is his bhakta. If he can stay in Gajasura's belly I don't see why he would deny Parvathi her right.

Shakti_Shiva,

Actually Shivaa - Swadheena- Vallabha can also be interpreted as "the beloved (Vallabha) of Him who places himself (Swa) below (Adheena) Shivaa (Parvati).

This has reference to the depiction of Lalitha Tripurasundari who is said to be seated on couch which is Sadashiva Himself.

She is also described in the LS as "Sadashiva pativrata" and "Sadashiva Kutumbini" As you rightly said, she is first and foremost his bhakta.

varaali, if the previous name is taken then, it is ShivKameshwarankastha, Shiva swadheen vallabha. She is sitting on Shivji's lap, has surrendered to him, is his beloved.

It is Shiva swadheen vallabha. Shiv, her husband is aadheen to her, actually both are aadheen to each other. The next is Sumeru shring madhyastha Shrimmannagar naayika, Chintamani grihantastha, Pancha brhmasanasthita. She lives in the centre of Mount sumeru is Naayika of Shree nagar, lives in Griha made of Chintamani, her aasan is made of Panch devas. All these names show her supremacy over her husband, who actually allows her for that. So Shivji can be aadheen to her.

Before marriage I used to recite the Lalita Sahasranama every Friday at a Devi temple near my house in India. At that time I didnt know the meanings of most of the names...but I used to love reciting it along with some other ladies. After coming to US I recited for the first few months but now I just dont. I feel I should start again...

Lalitha is so complex. It has several layers of meaning to it. Hence it is called the rahasya nama stotra. But any meaning is good to start with. It is said that once you start parayana, Mother will reveal herself the true meaning of Lalitha. I have met few ladies that said, when they recite Mother comes and sits with them and explains the meaning by giving them examples. They also said their chakras have been lit and they could actually feel it.
