It was a very good epi. The show always manages to get things into the right perspective which is so nice. Everything is explained well in the end. The New Year has kicked off well. Nahush seems to be a mystery for now because his father was hinting something which would make Ganesh not want his sister to marry him.

Shruti, I too hadn't thought of it. This observation is absolutely priceless.

It's actually a very strong reason why this Asokasundari story is not believable - the part about Nahusha being her husband.

On a different note, I love how this story ended w/ the asuri being reformed, rather than killed, and Mahadev pointing out to the devotee his mistakes as well 👏

I too found Daruka realising her mistake good for a change instead of getting killing as per some version of the Nageshwar Jyotirling's story. This is a good write up about Nahush, though it doesn't mention AS as Paravti's daughter.

This Nahusha story still is prety-blah types!

i mean why on earth with Mahadev and Parvati willingly get thier daughter married to someone who not only runs after someone elses wife,but also is destined to turn into a snake...

as per the AS story i have read-where she is born to Parvati,Parvati doesnt take her to Kailash-she stays in Ashokvan-so she and Parvati dont exactly have a relation after her birth-the DKDM Cvs are trying to make AS's story a larger one!
