I have got this privilege of updating the Written version of the show for Mondays and Fridays.
I would like to thank you for giving me this opportunity.
Devon Ke Dev Mahadev
3rd-August-2012 : 'Mahadev ki chali Baarat! '
At the Shamshan:
An old man is seen weeping on the samshan grounds desperate to meet Mahadev, and this is observed by one of the prayts n he decides to inform this event to Mahadev.
The prayt narrates this to Mahadev n others at Kailash.
Mahadev then sends Nandi to look into the matter..
When Nandi reaches the place he sees the Old man literally begging to have just a glimpse of Mahadev
"I wont move from here, my life is at its last stage, I would give away my life for the sake of your darshan; At least after my death I could be able to reach you! " cries the old man.
Nandi is kinda impressed by this kind of devotion of this man for Mahadev and he utters "Excuse me!"
The old man at once recognizes that it was Nandi's voice.
Then he stands up with the help of a stick and greets Nandi.
Nandi asks him who he was?
"Dont you recognize me? Time changes all, I'll see this day, will my Mahadev be able to recognize me or not. Nandi please take me to Mahadev " says the old man.
"How can I take you to Shiva without knowing the reason. And may be you don't have the knowledge that today is Mahadev's wedding, so he is busy." Nandi
The old man requests Nandi to take him to Mahadev and if Mahadev doesn't recognize him, he would leave the place at once.
Nandi finally takes him to Kailash.
As they walk, with Nandi giving support to the man he asks him again that who was he.
"Don't you remember the times we spent? Do you think that Mahadev would remember me? " The old man riddles.
Nandi assures that Mahadev knows everything- past, present, and future.
At Himvan's palace:
Nani tells Menavati that everybody is waiting for her at the Shilapujan ritual...
Menavati though happy, shows her dubious feeling about the marriage.
She is worried about the future of her daughter.
Nani explains "She wont get the same kind of love from her husband that she got from Himvan; but nobody can ever love her the way her husband would. "
(yeh lo kaam nai hai unlogonko ..madam you have a fat BIG wedding at ur place n you waste your time reasoning useless facts!)
Menavati doubts "Parvati has done great penance to get Mahadev as her husband, but he never did anything to get her; Would this make him feel superior than her after their marriage. what if he thinks she is less than her?"
Nani ma replies "Do you thin Parvati must have chosen a person who would look down upon her? And if at all any issue arises in her married life, she would tackle them with her virtue and capabilities." Nani continues with her optimistic talk "Marriage is a very scared events and it has to be done with positivity and purity."
Parvati is glad to hear this from her granny!
Menavati still is unable to get her heart and mind together.
Paravti goes to her mother " Mother, very soon you would get-read of these worries and you would not only be proud of your daughter, but also your Son-In-law on the note that this marriage will be referred as one of the most successful one. "
Kailash:
Nandi brings the old man to Kailash.
NAndi goes to Mahadev and says "Lord, he didn't let me know who he really is and even I could not recognize him! He also has said that, if you couldn't remember him then he would go away that very moment."
Shiva goes to that man and puts his hand on the man's shoulder.
"You have come here to test your uncle (Mama) Sukand?" says Mahadev
Nandi recollects those moments spent with Sukan in Sati era.
"Mama, you remember me" Says an old Sukand.
"How can I forget my dear nephew Sukand" says Mahadev.
"Mama, I do not feel sorry about my old age or my week body, this body is perishable ; there is a greed to see your wedding in the form of your nephew -In the same form when I for the first got blessed to see your divine presence. "
"Be it!", blesses Mahadev.
The man turns back to his younger self..(our golu sukand is back!😆)
Sukand says "Mahadev, being a part of your varyatra there is no wish that is left."
Little Sukand is very excited to meet his Maami..which leaves an ablush groom-wa.
The crowed sings praises of Shiva..Har har Mahadev!!
Back to Himalayas...
Parvati puts her hands onto a plate filled with red paste of vermilion and makes the imprints of her hand onto a straight smooth surfaced Plank(made of rock)
Nani ma orders a sevak to take the plank for the Mandap sthapna.
Rishi advices them to start Rasoyee pooja (Pooja done at the kitchen in honor of God's to run the wedding food preparation smoothly.)
At the royal kitchen:
Parvati is told to do the pooja to the stove or fire place (where food is supposed to be made in ancient times)... she then sprinkles the scared water onto the fire place with the help of a mango leaf for three times. (This represents shudhiikaran - the process of cleaning the vibes.)
Then she repeats the process sprinkling vermilion, turmeric and showering flowers..Parvati does the aarti.
Then milk is poured into a huge vessel. The poojari asks Parvati to lite fire to the stove 😛 then she prays to Agni dev to kindly corporate and help them in this auspicious day of her wedding .
And fires the stove by the diya..
(Karpura gauram karunavtaram...plays in the background.)
At Kailash again the atmosphere is filled with celebration.
Rishi Dhadhich ties a sacred thread to Mahadev's wrist, where MAhadev constantly looks at it.
Where devi Laxmi and devi Sarswati does the arti
Devon ke Dev Mahadev!
Devi Anusuya outs a garland around his neck, also adorns Shiva's eyes with kajal.
Again Kailash is endlessly echoed with Har HAr Mahadev!
With all the gans,praytas, rishis, bhakts dancing n celebrating.
At the precises moment of the auspicious muhurt Mahadev gets up and proceed towards Himalayas.
Parvati runs to the hall calling "Di di di di.."😆
Khyati, Revti, Aditi and Roohini come all the way to Himalayas inorder to attend their dear sister's wedding.
PArvati feels very happy to see them.
Rohini informs that the wedding has brought life not only at earth but also to the whole universe.
Khyati digs the past saying that she had to go against their parents to marry Mahadev as Sati.
Aditi and others dig the past again saying jab jo nai hua abhee woh nai hogaa n stuff..which includes Sati's death.
Parvati justifies that it was all for a purpose and it was cause of that she was able to complete her penance .she wishes to see Prasuti and Daksh at her wedding.
The sisters share a group hug..
Back at the Kailash
Shiva is all set to go to wed his Parvati..only to be stopped by a requesting Nandi to ride his master- Mahadev on his own back.
Nandi then coils onto the ground and takes the form of a 'real bull'
Then two of the prayts feeling blessed make themselves as steps for Mahadev to climb on to the bull.
(The BG somehow reminds me of Tashan's track- Dil hara re😛)
Shiva climbs on the bull and all of a sudden a huge 7 headed serpent capsules him -looks extremely majestic.

Precap:
Mahadev's baraat is nearing Himvan's place...but all of a sudden dust blurs their path.
Menavati is seen on her bed saying Parvati "This wedding is not gonna happen."
