Shiv is called bholenath bcoz it's very easy 2 impress and please him.He gets pleased wid ppl who do lot of hard work and hard tapasya,whether it's a human being or a rakshas.And whatever boon dey ask,he gives dem.Dat's why he is called bholenath.Look at tarakasur's example.He did kathor tapasya.Lord Shiva was impressed wid him and when he asked him da boon dat only shiva's son can kill him,without thinking anything,he gave him da boon.

he gives boon to even Asurs if they pray sincerily . He is easy to please hence he is bhole nath. The innocent God

He is called Bholenath because he is very easy to please and blesses anyone with a boon.
He is called shipra kobhi and shipra prasadi. Shipra kobhi means he gets angry very soon and shipra prasadi as he gets pleased also just as easily.

Shivji, is very of simple kind of nature, he doesn't possess any kind of attraction to anything. He is pleased with small prayer also. He doesn't have any rules in his puja.

He gives whatever his bhakt want from him.

Examples:-

He has given Lanka to Ravan, when he asked 4 him, which was actually made 4 their (Shiv's) family.

Wo kabhi tolke koi vardaan(boon) nahi dete. khush hote hai or de dete hai.

That's why he is bholenath.

Infact, Vishnu is quite reverse. Vishnuji jaldi khush nahi hote(kafhi muskil hai), or jab koi vardaan ki baat aati hai, to wo hamesha ye dhyaan rekhte hai ki, maangne wala is vardaan ka yogya hai bhi ya nahi. or ye bhi ki is vardaan ka koi durupyog to nahi hoga!, uske bad hi wo vardaan dete hai
