Loved the whole convo between Mahadev and parvati. Mahadev addressing her as "Uma Aparna, Parvati" was simply awww. 😍😍😍 i realy wish they too show her other forms like Kali, Durga, Annapurna.

And what a powerpacked performance by Mohit and Sonarika ws just ok she realy had to work hard more...bt there chemistry ws awesome.☺️

I don't think Parvati wz Gauri, itz the other way round!! Gauri or Sati is the first consort of Shiva...then again Parvati takes the roop of Gauri when she is adishakti...had to research alot for this!!

Gauri is Parvati not Sati. There is a vrat done by girls called Gauri-vrat, in Gujaart. During Ganeshotsava, in Maharashtra, Gauri comes on 4th day as Ganesh's Mother. The 8th form of Navadurga is MahaGauri.

The Goddess, took human birth at the bidding of the god Brahma. Sati was born as a daughter of Prajapati Daksha and his wife Prasuti. Daksha was a son of Brahma and a great king and magnate in his own right. The girl was named Gauri, "the turmeric-hued one," since she was of the fair, golden complexion of auspicious turmeric. As the daughter of Daksha, she is also known as Dakshayani. She is also called Sati (Devanagari: ???, the feminine of sat "true").
This is what I had read on a website...wikipedia's copy pasted the same thing from that website!! This was saved on my PC but I dont remember the name of the website. Also, many books tht I read as a child said that Devi Gauri was the first wife of Shiva...

I havn't got the chance to watch yesterday's epi till now! (sob:() power cuts, colz, repeat timings, they don't let me see the epi.

Aargh, I can't say anything widout watching last nite's epi! It was all 'bout the emotions.
But I liked how shivji talked about all the forms of Parvati. That was awesome.
And I think the tiger came running from vanadhi's sig to the show. Lol.
And why are the CVs trying to show as if Parvati really doesn't wanna marry shivji? Add some masala. As if we don't know! Haha.

@Gauri-gauri is a name assosiated with both Parvati and Sati-some people belive it was satis name,some people say it was Parvatis,but either way it doesnt matter since Sati and Parvati were the same!

I have always understood Gauri as being another name for Parvati.
