What ever their contribution for Hinduism is really appreciable in our Indian History . Though Hari or Hara ,they trained a large sum of masses by guiding them to not respond to other meaningless religious ways for a long time .

In our region we Respect Vishnu a lot because ,we consider him as a illusion of Ambika (Female supreme godess) in Male Form ,its Because he has taken the Left part Shivji in ShankraNarayan Form. So IN Tamil they call Shankar as Peruman(an sound denotes male formally) and vishnu as Perumal(al sounds to female formally in Tamil ).They literally treating him as a illusion or maya form of supreme Goddess. So our Shaivate blood never cares about vaishnavates blah blah blah .

Thanks for Sharing the song 😛, The tune is exactly alike Harivarasanam song sung by Yesudas.
That little girl rocks .👏

pretty interesting although i knew that vishnu is always called perumal, i wondered why?.

so this is the reason, not sure whether all of them subscribe to that view

so your region as i see, must be the southern tamilnadu, i.e the old pandya nadu

@Krishna, good topic 👏 I was going to cover Avatar-rahasya in next update of my OS. @Vrish, as per Devi Puran parvati was divine was aware of her powers, when she was 2 to 3 days old she showed Himavan about her true form including importance of her Mahavidyas, which is known as Parvati-geeta or Bhagavati-geeta. After Kamdev's burning into ashes, Shivji saw her & realised who she is, he asked her to show her form, she had gone to in Daksh's yagya. She showed her Mahakali form (in the show they showed as her Vikaral form) Shivji then praised her with 1000 names. That Mahakali Sahastranaam stotra is given in DP.

Parvati then did penance for 3000 years not to gain divinity but to get Shivji as her husband because after Sati's death, Shivji had done penance to get her back as his wife. So both of them did penance to get each other as huasband & wife. That is an amazing aspect of their relation.

Though i wasnt aware of this explanation...BUT someHow i always thought that acc karma..shivji did penance After mata Sati's death and had to suffer bereavement ...to pardon wat shivji went through maa parvati took penance...Also it shows that it was result of SAti's karma that Maa has to do so much hardwork to win SHIva..this clears supports the fact that karma is the upmost..even god can't interfere with karma...

One has to rectify his or her karma by herself..and god is our strength in doing purification of our karma..

Thanx for sharing..the best reason for parvati maa's long penance

You are welcome to believe that, but that has no support in the scriptures of any religion - Vedic, Torah/Talmud, Biblical, Quranic or any other. Stating your opinion as fact is rarely a good idea

I too believe that Shiv and Vishnu are one.😊The reason is both are Gods. It's common sense.😆Shiv is Vishnu bhakt and Vishnu is also Shiv bhakt. If both don't do any bhed-bhav then who are we to do bhed-bhav amongst them?😆Sorry to say but if reading scriptures will make one think that both are different then i am glad that i never read any religious scripture.i am not telling anything against any scripture.it's just that how people misinterpret the things written in these scriptures.Sorry if i hurt anyone.
For me,Shiv,Vishnu,Allah ,Guru Nanak and Jesus, all are same.😊

I am pretty sure that Krishna is a form of Vishnu and Vishnu is the Lord of Vaikunth. The Devi Puranas might state otherwise, but you cannot disqualify the countless other texts that support this. Never before have I heard of him being noted as a female.

And as per what Gods_child said, it is not so much as an opinion as a position put forth by thousands of gurus around the world. And isn't the supreme God Parabramha manifested in the Trimurti, Bramha, Vishnu, and Mahesh? And Adi Shankara himself said:
SHIVAYA VISHNU ROOPAAYA; SHIVA ROOPAAYA VISHNAVAE :
SHIVASCHA HRUDAYAM VISHNU ; VISHUSCHA HRUDAYAM SHIVAHA:
ETA SHIVA MAYOR VISHUNUHU ; EVAM, VISHNUMAYASCH SHIVAHA:
ETANTRAM NA PASHCHAYAAMI THATA ME SWASTIRAAYUSHI

Here is a quote from Vishnu Purana (5.33.46)

"yo harih sa sivah saksad yah sivah sa svayam harih
ye tayor bhedamati sthan narakaya bhave nnarah "

TRANSLATION: Whoever is Lord Hari, He Himself is Lord Shiva indeed.
Whoever is manifesting as Lord Shiva, He Himself is Lord Hari. Any
human being who mistakes both the Lords to be different, he/she
surely goes to hell.

Every body can believe whatever they want, but i appeal to all that do not generalize your belief and put it forward as universal truth.

i know " all are one" is the statement taught in the schools, but please don't put it forward again and again.

if you really believe its true come with sources and citations but don't post again and again the same statement.

Krishna

@ vrish may u are rite...i havent went through all religious text...but god is point of light...in bhajans he is called nirakar...
In islam ..allah e noor hai..
Even gurunanak ji said ek omkar
u believe purans..u have full right advocate what is written their as truth..god is formless.even during long yrs of penance what saint observe is source of light...that grows brighter..now u will ask which saint have i met..ans is i have observed...in gita krishna said that his presence is in faith u wont ever get him through evidences...
IF u are true then i am true also...even shivling is symbol of god..it is a structure that supports his representation...we see a point upon three line..the ling along with line support the point...
U might not find all this in any religious text..but if i dont have proof then also dnt have any proof to support hundred per validity of text...
ar

U ARE TRUE AND I HAVE FAITH ON MY BELIEF...until u have true devotionu are always true...fighting over who is grt over whom will get us no where..
