Absolutely love the mutual respect of Lord Shiva and Vishnu have towards each other. In every mythological series, i look forward seeing Shiva and Vishnu being bhakt of each other and respecting. I hate the idea of placing either Shiva or Vishnu ahead of each other. I always believe both are equal and ARE HAR-HARI.

As far as I know Shiva and MahaVishnu have always had great respect and love for each other. As for placing one above the other I can never do it as I regard both of them being equal. I l pray to both of them. And yes the bonding that they share is being depciated so beautifully by the show.

Shiva and Vishnu being bhakt of each other is a myth. it is propagated in order to create middle path and to avoid conflict between followers. you may like that way but it is not like that.

1) Both are fundamentally different philosophies, and are not compatible with each other. whether you like it or not.

2) Whether you are here or you are there, you cannot follow both of them at the same.

this is the truth, i am open to debate any other who thinks other wise.

One of my frn is a doing research on vedas she told me tht Shiv and Vishnu are spritual lovers they r both each other's bhakts.

They have differnt path and philosophy...Hinduism is all abt different paths which lead to same GOD...thts why hinduism is unique. If someone is shiv bhakt and following Shiv's path its ok...similarly A Vishnu bhakt is also not wrong.
There's no correct path...every way is correct we have to choose whichever way we like.
Being a shiv bhakt does not mean he should demean vishnu.Same goes for Vishnu bhakts.
Unlike other organised religion its not bound by rules and doctraines.
Brahma,Vishnu and Shiv are all different aspects of same energy...for the stability of this universe all 3 have to be in balance. So there's no question of who is greater.
The problem is we humans specially this kalyug humans are spritiually and mentally very weak we give more importance to ur ego...thts why there's so much difference of openion and religious clash.
People r not fighting for superiority of their GOD...they r fighting for their own ego...
How can ur god be greater than mine ?
It hurts our ego to see tht other person gives more importance to his belief...

i will post in detail regarding this in next month, this month i am very busy in traveling and dead lines.

i also want to make it clear that both are equally valid but there is distinction between both and you cannot follow both paths at a time.. that was my point.

Regarding this following of different Gods, I would like to add, In 1 family itself different members may follow different Gods. The path one follows Bhakti or Karma or Gyan or all of them is indicated in one's birth chart. Everyone follows the faith system they have been following in their past births & carries foreword from where they have left in current birth. It's journey of realising the Supreme consciousness.

@krishna the real devotee knows no rules or philosophies or boundries . I believe in both shiv or vishnu. I love them equallY. And no matter what you say wont change that. Bhakti knows no logic. This is not some political party that u cant be at both places

As i told you i am no one, to advice anybody. My point is philosophy is different, vishistadvaitha( vaishnavaite) can never be compatible with Advaitha( shaiva, smartha) and sankhya( shaiva, shakta)

advaitha can be compatible with sankhya and smartha ( sometimes) , similarly vishistadvaitha is similar to dvaitha and dvaithadvaitha.

so if you classify Hindu philosophies broadly they will form certain groups, all vaishnavaite philosophies will come under one cluster and all other non vaishnavaite groups will from another cluster of which majority are of shaiva nd shakta sampradaya.

so the point is these two are like alternate poles.if you are at one, you are not there at the other by default.
to understand this you need to study all of them. when i have time i will post all about them

regards
krishna
