RSR (Ramanand Sagar Ramayan) and BRCM (B. R Chopra's Mahabharat) are still CLASSICS.
I'll watch these (with their awful production values 😆) over any of the newer versions any day!!!! 😃

I know! And after she left, they tried to work around her absence and bring changes to the storyline. You know the Parijaat flower that Krishna was supposed to give to Rukhmini. Well, they made it look like he gave them to Jambavati. And then they created this enmity between Satyabhama and her. What the heck?
Shri Krishna and his stories are very dear to me and I just couldn't stand that they messed it up so badly. I quit watching after that.

^^that they did. Jai Shri Krishna wasn't much better because they really stretched the role of little Krishna, Dhriti Bhatia. I mean, yes, she was cute, but an entire year? Her role should have been no longer than a month. And right after they got a teenage Krishna, the show started to pick up. And that's when they ended it! Sagar Pictures has been doing a bad job each time they attempt a mytho. I'm glad DKDM is atleast maintaining a tiny bit of integrity.
Oh, and another show that you might want to add to the list is Ganesh Leela. I watched the first few episodes of it. Not that bad actually. The Parvati from that show was Yashoda from Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat. It aired in 2009
