parvathi - story

Hello everyone . This is Meenakshi , again back after a long time. I am very happy to post in this forum again.

I just love this serial . This serial is awesome...Now they have started the story of parvathi and i am eagerly waiting for shiv-shakti ka milan.

The story of mata Sati was portrayed very well by the makers of DKDM . I just hope that they come out with something wonderful and creative this time too.

let us all welcome the new actress who will be playing the role of Parvathi, wholeheartedly. i hope she does a good job , like Mouni Roy.


i just want to make a small point :

In the old serial "om namah shivaya" starring Samar Jai Singh (Shiv) and Gayathri (Parvathi), it was shown that Raja Himavan and Rani Mena , pray to lord shiva , with equal devotion and sincerity , as they prey to Lord Vishnu. It is wrong to say that they were pure vishnu-bhakt.

Only before the time of marriage of parvathi and lord shiva, rani mena opposes , because she feels that shiva is an ascetic and her daughter parvathi - who has been born and brought up in a royal family, may not be able to live happily with lord shiva.

But then ultimately, devi arundati advices her and she realises that parvathi is made only for lord shiva and noone can stop their marriage.

So i request the makers of DKDM , not to deviate too much from the original story. I dont understand why they showed rani Mena beating parvathi for touching shiva's damroo. This is not right.
