i remember seeing a old tamil movie were shiva fed up with the consent bickering of ganga and parvati curses them to be born are humans and learn to be friends, parvati is born as a brahmin ganga as a fishermaid. they both are friends till they fall in love with the same person :shiva in disguise. finally they realize their mistake and promise shiva to be together.

i dont know how much truth is there in this story.

oh boy i hope they won't show shiva and ganga's relationship as a sin because till now ganga is shown extremely happy about parvati and shiv's relationship.if she carries the seed of shiv then she becomes his wife and that would be horrible to see as in previous episodes its became far clear that shiv and ganga are like ah...like friends or something as he carried her in his jata.i know nothing about purans but a love triangle between gods will be horrible to see.if it wasn't about gods then i would love to see ganga being second wife of shiv😆 he he but i don't wanna see any filthy story made by these cvs.😡

i hope they show the original story which is most accepted in purans and not create something that hurts religious feelings.

if it wasn't about gods then i think mohit and ganga girl would look cute together onscreen.poor cvs purans mein bhe love triangle.kab sudhrenge ye log.

Ganga and Shiva are not married. He just caught her in his hairs to break her pride and protect earth from her force.

This Shiv-Ganga couple story originated in the middle ages...Many people had hard time accepting the fact tht a single lady ganga should stay in Shiv's jata.

So they termed Gangs as Shiv's 2nd wife...the fact is their relationship is purely spritual.

Ganga is devoted to Shiv like a bhakt.

Many mytholigical stories were twisted this way to make them acceptable to society.

Like Krishna and his gopis...they were changed into lovers...whereas in reality the gopis were Krishna's bhakt

Krishna and Draupadi...may places they are termed as having a brother sister relationship.. Draupadi was a devotee of Krishna and he protected her during cheer haran but she never calls him as her bother..their relationship is again spiritual.

Its beyond normal human understanding to comprehend this spiritual aspect people want relationship to have names like husband-wife/brother-sis so there are many variations of these tales which has been modified to suit general sensibilities.

hey guys do you really think that cvs will show ganga and shiv like a couple?because i have no expectation of it.ganga is shown hazardous pure in this story and shiv completely rejected ganga.he only loves his shakti.i hope they show skanda's birth rather well.

honey if we see it in materialistic way shiva seems to be a non aryan god who used to rule kailash,sati been his first wife who died,to stop the arya and non arya struggle arya ruler vishnu married his sister to shiva while ganga was his wife as well and after her the river was named as ganga which comes from mansarovar(gomukh is just a hole from which ganga comes).the seed being in ganga means that she was his consort.

PURANS ARE SIMPLY MYTHO STORIES HAVING DEEP KNOWLEDGE OF HISTORY BUT THEY ARE PRESENTED IN THE MOST TOUGHEST WAY THAT WE WHO KNOW THE LEAST ABOUT PURANS JUST CAN'T DECODE IT.SO ITS BETTER TO ENJOY THE SERIAL RATHER THAN THINKING IF SHE WAS HIS WIFE OR NOT.SHIV USED TO TAKE BATH IN GANGA RIVER ANYWAY.😆THERE IS NO OTHER RIVER EXCEPT MANSAROVAR NEAR KAILASH.😆

@lucykaede, refrain from posting all caps, is considered shouting on net.

Shivji-Shaktii, Vishnu, Brhma have existed much before any Human was created. So this Aryan & non-Aryan reasoning doesn't apply here.

In this show not only Puranas but also other Occult Science texts are refered. At times what is not explained well in Puranas has a detail reference in other Scriptures. This story which they follow in this show is majorly taken from various puranas with added fiction.

We have a very good thread - \|/ : Doubts & Discussions about Lord Shiva : \|/ , in important topics, where we discuss good pts. Go through the entire thread, it's quite informative. Even Skanda's birth is discussed much earlier in that.

There's nothing like aryan and non aryan GOD.

Did Shiv and Ganga marry ?? no

Do they have any offspring together ?? no

Ganga carried skanda seed...we might term her as serrogate mother but skanda is Shiv and shakti's son

Ganga married king Shantanu during mahabharat...so does it mean Ganga had 2 husbands ??

Shiv and Ganga have spiritual relation thts all.

Ganga is very far from maansarovar instead mansarovar is near source of 4 rivers Brahmaputra, Karnali, Indus and Sutlej

okay some satellites pictures specualted that maybe ganga's source is from mansarover as gomukh is only a hole where it comes.its original source is unknown.about arya and non arya theory,i guess you haven't read the history,okay i agree that they tried to divide india and all that but modern historians are free indians and still many things prove that aryas invaded india.okay maybe they didn't still there are evidences of a great struggle between tribes in india and maybe that one tribe were of aryans.so basically there was a struggle.please don't see it through mytho thing,rig veda was written aroun 1700 b.c.we only know history of like 10000 years before,before that we don't know what happened.this vishnu,shiv and other gods thing do contain some historical stuff and we can speculate that maybe they were not gods but humans who were tagged as gods due to their heroic deeds.

i am a history student and knows almost everything about harappa and vedic culture of what a ba student should know.😆

on ganga part,well i heard that he is called gangaputra and he is son of shiv.so...skanda is shiv and ganga's son.it maybe the case of aritficial baby producing thing.😆

there are stories that says that ganga was indeed shiva's ah..you know not consort but...there is one story which says that vishnu had three wives who always used to quarrel so vishnu gave saraswati to brahma,ganga to shiv and kept laxmi for himself.yes money is always imp.😆
