I forget what his name was due to Parvati.

But the above statement is clearly wrong - Kartikeya was very much a son of Parvati. Ganga was one of several parents of his, as per the story of his birth, and had no greater role than, say, Shravan. Neither Shravan, nor Ganga, nor the Krittikas are considered consorts of Mahadev any more than Agni or Vayu can be considered consorts of Parvati.

She is called Vishnupriya, Shivpriya as she is dear to both. (But not in that sense)

Shivji ek patnivratdhari hai, unhone Parvati se hi itni muskil se vivah kiya, fhir Ganga to dur ki baat hai.

Ganga married Shantanu during one of her human avatars. The river goddess Ganga herself was by no means married to anyone. Much like Yamuna.

Yaar Ganga ne kabhi human avatar thodi liya tha, means unhone kisi ke ghar fhir janam thodi liya tha, she was there, when Shantanu watched her in Ganga river.

Unka avtar mante hai, jaise Godavari bhi unka avtar hai jo shivji ki jata se hi nikli hai. As she stays in Shiv's jata.

Ganga is shown to be young...in one story ive read Ganga is even supposed to Protect Parvati(when she was small) when Tarkasur wants to

attack her,so showing her of an age where she is fully knowledgeable isnt wrong...

about the marriage part i agree...she was dear to both Vishnu and Shiv,and even stayed with them-but never married them-hence some conservative people who believe a man and woman cannot stay together without marriage must have named them as consorts

absolutely she is known as vishnu pada, padmaja and shav priya as she is dear to them . She was not their consort . Later local writers must have written those stories. In the precap also they said shiv milenge ganga se. They didnt say she is his Wife

I'll wait for the update, but watching the end of tonight's episode, where Ganga told Markandeya that she had feelings about her future being tied to Shiva was just 🤢 I also didn't like her gawking @ him when he arrived and scared away the asuras.

I really wish the CVs would resist the temptation to create a Ganga-Mahadev-Parvati triangle, or even an appearance of one.

i don't think dey will do it yaar.it's not a daily saas bahu drama.i hv full trust on cvs. dey won't do such a thing

even i found that too hard to digest-maybe they are trying to indicate towards the future bond between Shiva and Ganga-but they are making it look like a future love triangle-they are somehow trying to sit on two boats by trying to incorporate the Ganga being consort to Shiva thing,which isnt correct since Ganga is unmarried!im hoping they do not make it a Kabhi Sautan Kabhi Behen thing...Ganga and Shiva are supposed to have a bond-but its a complicated one not to be made into a love triangle!

what i suspect is that Maybe Mahadev will completely ignore Ganga,hence making her back out,and maybe she may turn hostile towards Mahadev...

Mahadev and Ganga have a very diffrent bond-bu it shouldnt be potrayed wrongly!
