It's not surprising from the point of view of shakta puranas, where Devi has full realisation of what is going on and Shiv can be sometimes fearful or grieving. Even in ' Om namah Shivay' , very shaiva series they showed Shiv grieving and not understanding that his separation from Aadi Shakti is illusion. I can handle it 😆 But losing all the sacred signs - that's too much for me!

The gods are often described as behaving in a very human manner in the scripture; anger, sorrow, pain, humour, pleasure, jealousy, arrogance, etc. it'll all there. So it's not that strange to see this on the show.

I wonder what they will do with Tarakasur.

Thanks Minakshi for the update and also thanks for the info. u hav given of devi parvati's frm DP...u knw i want go through all the puranas specialy DP and i wl definately buy it by nxt week ...

It seems he gave up all his accesories with that sand storm. He can not be recognised by anyone on Earth, that may be their idea. Want to see him rewarding the people who helped him on Earth.

He iis grieving at the physical loss of Aadi Shakti. In reality she will take a long time to unite with him again. Sadly this is a reality here. Like yesterday he said Shiv without Shakti is Shav. Eagerly waiting for his sad state ending soon😃

May be because Shivji is made of 36 elements, out of them some last elements are human. The makers being human prefers show those elemnts better. Many times it may be difficult for them to understand the higher elements.

I wonder what elements Asuras are made up of?

am i the only one who thinks this whole lamenting thing is going on for too long. Like typical Hindi soap, stretching sad event into 2 weeks of telecast. I loose interest in shows when this happens.

and i am not rilli digging Mahadev with beard and stubble, but hopefully tomorrow we will see some action😆

at minu, i agree about he writer, but whatever still they are more or less sticking to storyline.

When does Mahadev then sink into his dhyan ?

Do you think they will show some other events between this and parvtai's birth or straight into parvati's birth?

Oh and can people come on chat thread, seems i am the only poster, i will be back there soon.

Well, speaking of the plot itself - it's really entertaining, and this rejection of Deity signs could be a part of some leela. I just hope they won't lose meaning in the course of action. Shakti pithas appearing at the Earth have made it more sacred, Shiv's appearance at earth must bring some good results (as they usually say in mythos). If it would end this way, this ok. But I couldn't get any hint of this from Shiv's monologue today. I agree, yesterdays part about Shiv without Shav was excellent, but today he's completely caught in the illusion.

this epi reminded me of ram post sita vanvaas and gurru's site site cry, it was okay for two days but man it grew so boring, i almost stopped watching the show.

Me too, this whole stubble rubble , chandrasekhar without chandra kinda looks weird, if they really wanted to show him as human, why did they bother keep his jata and his vesh? just show him as some sad sadhu na?

Anywho, hopefully in two weeks or so we will see grown up parvati.

Btw: does anyone wonder, why when showing shows like ramayan or this one, the central female characters wear age appropriate revealing costumes but other goddesses get the typical red/ white sarees and blouses?😆
