I have a feeling Mouni WILL play Parvati...

I personally don't have a problem with someone else as Parvati...but it seems that when Vishnu played Ram, or when Lakshmi played Sita or any of her other lila forms, they really didn't change the "face"...so why won't they be consistent with that? And keep Mouni as the "face" of Shakti?

Moreover, I would imagine it would be an interesting challenge for her as an actress...Parvati is an entirely different character. It would require a whole new body language. And surely that would be a wonderful opportunity to showcase her talent as an actress? To convince the audience who is used to her as Sati that she is now Parvati?

Rightly said! And come to think of it..why would she have signed a contract only for such a small period..I think she'll play parvati😊
