u remember,one of da sentences in dat article was dat sonarika was too young.somebody made a comment in da feedback section,"were u expecting a 60 yr.old woman 2 play da role of parvati?"

Agreed yaar,we can maturely handle constructive criticism but how can we bear such stupid criticism of sonarika?da writer of dat article was comparing her wid mouni and dat irritated me like anything.Jst bcoz dat fc members agree wid her she thought dat da whole world also has da same opinion abt sonarika.😕😆

It's interesting to me this dissonance we seem to have - yes, we think of Parvati as "maa" but how does one go around "looking" maternal???? 😕 It's not to be taken literally, right?! 😆

And Parvati *was* a young girl...read Kumarasambhava as one literary example...

I see no problem in the portrayal of Parvati as a young/innocent girl at all!

I guess it's all about expectations!
