"Will you marry me,Princess Rishika.."She wiped a tear away as HIS voice echoed in her mind.She was walking on her way to Vicky's dorm but stopped.She couldn't go to him teary eyed with such a sad aura surrounding her,how would she answer him?She shook her head and turned around and started walking back to her dorm.She climbed the stairs and knocked on her room's door impatiently.She just wanted to get in her bed and nothing more at this depressing moment.Lia opened the door and smiled at her nervously.She still wasn't sure if Maya had cooled down or not."Hi,kaisi ho?"Lia asked her."Ttheek."Maya replied dryly.Lia was about to ask her that how come you came back early but stopped as she heard her dry reply and bit her lip.
"Waise what should we have for dinner.."Lia was saying but stopped again as Maya ignored her and without bothering to even chnge her clothing,which was not the most comfortable clothing for sleeping,threw herself on the bed and closed her eyes.Lia,noticing that Maya had not even the slightest bit of interest in talking to her and getting very suffocated in the gloomy silence in the room,announced that "Main clubbing ja rahi hun,khayal rakkhna apna!",turned off all the lights and went out.Maya was left or..how she liked to put it,"FELT" alone in the dark room.She sat up on her bed and turned one of the lights on the switch board on,she winced in pain as the light hit her eyes and putting her hand on her forehead,she switched on the lamp and switched off the tube light."Better"She muttered under her breath.She closed her eyes wishing that when she opened them again,she would be a different person.She didn't even like herself anymore!Why?Maybe because maybe because the person she was,had a very hurtful memories.She wanted to be someone else,with different memories and a different story.She got up from the bed and went to the window.The stars in the sky shone brightly making her smile.She just stood there,lost in a memory...

"Uhh...I was just saying..would you like to go out for dinner?You know..with me.Just us,Alone!"A guy seeted in the cafetaria of their college said looking at the girl sitting on his opposite chair.The girl just stared at him.Disbelief written all over her face."Uhh..you are asking me out?On a DATE?"She finally said.''Hann,so,chalo gi?"He said."Zaahir si baat hai,YU.Akhir main apne Best Friend ki itni pyari si offer ko na chahte hue bhi refuse kaise karsakti hun".She replied smiling."Yeah right!Waise you know how lucky you are?That the great YU has asked you out?"He said smirking."Hunh!You are so full of yourself all the time!"She retorted faking an annoyance,But the affection in her eyes mocked her expression...

He was lost in the memory of the person he used to love more then even himself and still did.But what took him out of his thoughts was Maya.He had been spending almost all of the time wondering about her since he met her.He didn't know why but the 1st thought that came to his mind when he first came face to face with Maya,was of the person he loved with all his heart.He literally thought that Maya was her but soon realized she wasn't when he noticed the wy she dressed,her eyes,and her being thin.She was chubby,never thin at all,and everything about Maya was different then Her except theat their looks resembled.Alot.
He shook his head as if thinking "Why the heck am Wasting my time on thinking this?" And went to sleep.

He was right.She really was lucky.In fact,she was feeling like the luckiest girl alive on earth or in that case,the universe!He had really taken her out to dinner!And this time,it wasn't just a dinner they always had as best friends,it was special.One which they had in candlelight as a date..She smile to herself as she remembered the moments they spent together.Her cheeks turned red as she remembered how he had cupped her face,put a strand of her hair behind her ear,whispered softly "I love you!" and then leaned forward to kiss her forehead!And she had replied:"I love you too,you know?" and then he had smiled and said "I know".She had smiled back and then he smirked and said :"I have known forever,every girl feels that way about me!"And then she had pushed him away playfully.
But with those statements they had made,they weren't just best friends anymore,they were a couple and Best Friends!
