Hey guyzz😃..Do you still remember this SS😆. I know I am late in updating(as usual). Actually I have no lame excuses up my sleeves for delaying the update. So wihout further interruption, here's the chapter 2:😛
Chapter 2
Arjun Grover-that was his full name. The prankster and the Casanova of his college days now served in the police department as the Inspector. Gone was the playful and flirtatious Arjun , now only Inspector Grover remained .
In the early morning, he sat in the terrace sipping his black cup of coffee. No worry about life, just fun was his motto then. So, in the search of some fun like in those old detective movies, he had thought of being a police. However, all the fun he had sought in this current job had now vanished. Navar was a dull city, where crime rarely happened. His parents lived in Mumbai with his sibling . So far away from Navar, still his parents desperately wanted a perfect match for Arjun while he dreaded the thought of marrying.
Who could have known that his life would change this much? He sighed.
He was brought out of his reverie when his cell phone buzzed.
"Hello, Inspector Grover here. Who's this speaking?"
A brief silence.
"Umm…yeah, I'll be there in a minute."
Duty calls. He said to himself before he hastened towards his room to get ready.

"You know Manyata, you'll like Saleen" Unnati chirped as they entered the building. A long corridor stretched before them. Coming from other side of the corridor was the most handsome boy Manyata had ever seen in her life. With brown hairs ruffled, eyes similar to the color of emerald green and chins perfectly shaped, he looked majestic . He was wearing a black shirt hugging his perfectly sculptured body and a faded jeans. Manyata walked a step ahead ignoring to whatever Unnati was blabbering.
He stopped right in front of Manyata. Heartbeat paced and she felt an unknown attraction towards this handsome guy standing in front of her. She stared at him but he was looking past her. She turned around to see what had attracted this stranger's attention but she could only see a shocked Unnati. Before she could register what was happening around, Unnati rushed past her only to be embraced by the guy.
As the guy and Unnati embraced each other, she felt an unknown pain in her heart. "Saleen" she uttered. Get a grip of yourself Manyata. What's wrong with you?

Lying on a stainless table was the skeleton, the remains of a girl. Dr. Mohit seemed to be running some tests on the skeleton while Inspector Grover and sub-inspector Preetam waited patiently. After he had finished examining, the doctor slowly takes the rubber glove off of his hand and disposes the materials used in the autopsy. Then he begins to fill in the details of what he has just discovered.
"There's nothing to extract from it as it has already rotten."
"But there must be something." Pretam asked.
"Let me finish first." he said."As you had suggested earlier that the girl may have died due to overdose of drugs. I checked...there's no trace of drugs in her body."
"But she may have..."
Preetam was interrupted when Dr.Mohit continued" And neither was she physically assaulted as you have presumed."
"Meaning..the motive of death may be money."Inspector Grover remarked."Then how did she die?"
"She was strangled till death."
"Then there's a serial killer on the loose?" Preetam asked.
"Well, these disappearances of girls hardly could be connected with each other. They might have eloped as we have supposed earlier. Moreover, we have no evidence that they are connected."
"As you say sir."
"Can you check over the details of Aaliyah? I need everything on her. The neighbours identified the body but what about her relatives? We need to find about them as soon as possible."
