Then Uday moved suddenly close to her, like he was going to mow her down. Damn! She could feel his breaths on her face! "Kya kaha tumne? Maine suna nahi zara dobara kaho please," he winked at her.

"Maine kaha I hate you, hate you very much, kitne bure ho tum'poor Agastya, tumne toh uski fiance usse churali!" she brought fake pity on her face.

"achcha, hate karti ho? Toh phir jab mujhe chot lagi toh madam ki aankhon se Ganga jamna kyon behrahi thi? Uss gaadi se utharte hi koi meri baahon me kyon aagaya seedhe seedhe..hmm? Uday looked straight into her eyes. She smiled a shy smile once again hiding herself in his broad, comfy chest.

"chalo meri feelings toh tumhe pata chal gayi, what do you think?" she was suddenly serious. This was most important.

"Pari, main bhi tumhe utna hi 'Hate' karta hoon, jitna tum mujhe, isiliye toh aaj se main tumhe Manyata nahi Pari bulaoonga"Uday said touching the tip of her nose.

Manyata was very relieved. Then both laughed at the situation which had turned from very serious to very mischievious, leading to even confessing their love for each other! Uday put his arms around her neck and Manyata rested her chin on his shoulder. Wow! It felt heavenly'

Manyata was on cloud nine now. She had found her father, a home and most importantly the love of her life here. What more could anyone ask'life had given her the gift of love, seldom available to anyone.how fortunate she was. A guy who loved her to bits and who would go to any lengths for her. She loved him pretty much the same way and may be even more. She was willing to go through anything for him. Hell she would give up her life gladly if he asked. That thought made her hug him even more tightly.

But there still existed a hurdle, Agastya. And Mona maasi would be supporting him, would she be able to stand up for her feelings? Oh no How would Mona maasi react on hearing that Manyata had overstepped the boundaries drawn by her? she would slap her and may even try to drag her back to Mumbai or 'she didn't let that thought continue in her head. Garhwal was her home now and she would never go back to Mumbai'The thought of leaving Uday made her sad. She wanted to be with him forever and ever.

Uday noticed the changed expression on her face and asked "kya hua Pari? Kis soch me doob gayi?"

"Lets be serious Uday, main bohot pyar karti hoon tumse, par yeh baat Agastya ko pata chal gayi toh pata hai kya hoga? Mona maasi, woh toh mujhe Mumbai wapas le jaane ki poori koshish karengi, mujhe nahi jaana wapas, itni mushkilon ke baad mujhe yeh sab mila hai, mere papa mile hai, tum mile ho, I want to live with you forever" she said looking at the road.

"Hey, tumhe bharosa nahi hai apne pyar par? Pyar toh main bhi bohot karta hoon tumse, nahi reh paoonga tumhare bin, aur Mona maasi ki chinta tum mat karo, woh tumhe kahin nahi le jaa sakti Baba ke ijazat ke bina, Baba tumhe kahin nahi jaane denge" Uday told her.

"Haww! Papa ke baare me toh maine socha hi nahi, kya woh.." Manyata trailed off anticipating one more glitch.

"Pari, agar baba aaj mujhe samjhate nahi toh main kabhi apne dil ki baat tumse share nahi karta, sab pata hai unhe'bohot khush hai woh humare rishte se" Uday assured her.

"tumne papa ko bata diya!, tumhe toh main-" Manyata exclaimed while Udayveer ducked for cover from her attack. The two love birds chased each other and played merrily.

Giriraj was very sad with the turn of events. He could see history was about to repeat itself, in a way atleast. 'Some one needs to curb this Mona' he thought and went to the guest room where Mona had thought fit to park herself in.

Mona was resting, spreading her ample body on the four poster bed. She was snoring, her heavy bosom heaving up and down. She didn't wake up despite Giri opening the door with a creek. He coughed a couple of times. She didn't wake up.

'She spoils my daughter's peace of mind and sleeps like a bear in hibernation' Giri thought and shouted "Mona!!"

She opened her eyes and got up rubbing her eyes. "Giri tum!" she was so happy to see him.

"aao, aao..Aisa laga jaise eid ka chand dekhliya subah subah" Mona croaked. She was behaving like a kid who had been given an extra ice cream.

"yeh sab chodo Mona, tum batao tumhe kya chahiye?" Giri said.

"Chahiye toh bohot kuch, par filhal tum kis baare me pooch rahe ho?" she asked.

"Mona, mujhe batao meri bachchi ki zindagi bakshne ke liye (spare my daughter's life) tumhe kya keemat chahiye? Tum bas paise ke liye yahaan aayi ho na, batao apni keemat?" Giriraj told her.

"bada pyaar aaraha hai, apni 'bachchi' par'itne saalon me kahaan tha yeh pyar? Kabhi hum par bhi pyar jataya karo" Mona said in an effort to snuggle up to him.

Giriraj shook her off and said " Tum meri beti se dur rehne ka kya logi? Aur haan yeh jo aadmi tum pakadkar laayi ho na, usse meri Pari ki shaadi kabhi nahi hogi, main aisa hone nahi doonga"

"main use pakadkar nahi laayi hoon, india ka bohot bada industrialist hai woh, tumhari beti ko apni kismat ko 'thanks' bolna chahiye ki Agastya ne kayi ladkiyon me use chuna'aur main bhi dekhti hoon tum kaise rokoge yeh shaadi, Manyata ko maine pala hai bachpan se, woh meri baat kabhi nahi taalegi" Mona said in a haughty manner.

"Tumne meri shaadi shuda zindagi(married life) toh barbaad kar hi di hai, ab kya chahti ho tum? Kya tum yeh chahti ho ki meri beti bhi komal ki tarah din raat ghut ghutkar(suppressed) zindagi guzare? Nahi main tumhare kisi bhi iraade(intention) ko kaamiyab(Successful) nahi hone doonga!" Giriraj pointed a finger to her in warning.

"Excuse me, maine tumhari life barbaad ki? Balki tum dono ne meri zindagi ka nark(hell) bana diya'achcha hua Komal mar gayi'chalo jo hua so hua'aaj main tumse phir kehti hoon mujhe apna lo Giri..itne saal se intezaar kiya hai maine tumhara" Mona pleaded like a dog.

"Koi itna besharam kaise ho sakta hai!, tum jo chahti ho that'll never happen'tum abhi tak usi duniya me jee rahi ho Mona' rahi apnane ki baat, maine ek hi aurat se pyar kiya tha aur woh iss duniya me nahi hai, get a life Mona! Ab bhi waqt hai" Giriraj said in frustration.

"us Komal ko nark me bhi jagah nahi milegi'usne mera pyar mujh se cheen liya, kitna samjhane ki koshish ki thi maine use, usne suna nahi.. '*######' kahin ki", Mona spewed an expletive for her deceased sister and earned a resounding slap on her left cheek.

"Ruko Giriraj, meri baat poori nahi hui ab tak, stop!" she yelled at Giriraj's receding figure rubbing her wounded pride and cheek.

Agastya kicked the mangled car. How dare Manyata cosy up to a guy like that infront of her fianc! Wait..Let her get married to him and once that's done he would show her. He would teach her a lesson she would never forget. A plan was forming in his mind. If he succeeded all his trees would bear fruit at once. But before that he had to escape out of this godforsaken place. He speed dialed a number and said "Anu?"

'Anu' reached him in 20 minutes and they set out in her car towards the ranch. After 2 minutes Agastya asked her "behena, tum garhwal me kaise? Kal tumne phone par kaha tha ki tum kisi khas wajah se yahaan ho"

"Haan bhai, you are right'im on a mission'revenge mission to be exact" Anu said.

"Behena, Mujhe bhi kisi se badla lena hai, aur chun chun kar lena hai.." Agastya told her clicking his teeth together.

"Bhai I have an idea, kyon na hum saath milkar apne mission ko poora kare, you help me and I'll help you out" Anu replied.

"it's a done deal" Agastya said.

Atlast the two some reached home and together they reached Manyata's room. On the way home Uday never left Manyata's hand and she loved the gesture immensely. Well it is the smallest acts of love that keep a relationship thriving, not the pomp and show. Manyata wanted to shout out to the world proclaiming her love but contained herself. The next task on her agenda was diary reading.She settled on the bed with diary while Uday laid his head on her lap. He played with her hair twirling it in his fingers.

The entries of months till late September didn't have Mona's name anywhere. Her mother had written all about happy things in life. But the entry dated 26^th September caught Manyata's attention.

This particular entry dated resolved all the doubts in Manyata's mind about Mona maasi spoiling her parents- especially her mothers- happiness.

It read:

"Diary,

Aaj mujhe life ka sabse bada shock laga, itne maheene jise dhoondti rahi thi woh Mona mujhe aaj mili'bohot buri halat thi uski'gande kapde..rehne ke liye ghar nahi..papa ne use ghar se nikala tha ab woh unke ghar dobara jaayegi nahi..i've failed as a sister somewhere, I felt seeing her. usne jo bhi bura kiya so kiya maine use apne ghar rehne ke liye bula liya..Giriraj ko shayad achcha nahi laga par Mona hai toh meri behen, aaj shaadi ke baad pehli baar Giri ke saath mera jhagda hua, Mona ko ghar me rakhne ki baat ko lekar"

Manyata couldn't bear to read more lest anymore skeletons tumble out of the closet. Uday took the diary from her hand. He closed it and kept it back in its place. "Pari, please ro mat, sab theek ho jaayega" he assured her caressing her brow.
