The moment I opened this page, that picture got me glued to my screen. This was one of my favorite scenes from DEK and you chose it as a cover for your SS, and I must say, it looks gorgeous

I don't see why you were so nervous in posting this Payal. You are such an amazing writer that I seriously doubt if you'd ever be unable to impress someone with your writing. The first chapter itself was impeccable. I was hooked to it from the beginning till the end, and when I was done reading, I still wanted to read more. This is the extent to which you got me so involved in your story.
The first scene was really heart touching. Uday's restlessness that something was going to happen showed how much he was attached to his Mother. And the way he died, I bet anyone would be disturbed and vengeful for the rest of their lives.
Unnati and Udays bond was beautifully described in the next scene. I could feel their pain!
Then comes Manyata's entry. Now the thing that caught my attention the most here was without a doubt Brijraj and his indifference towards Manyata. I am sure there is back story to it too? It hurt to see the way he treats his own daughter. Like she doesn't even matter.
I absolutely loved the way you described Uday and Manyata's meeting. It was so intense and interesting. Especially when Uday shows Manyata her Father's pictures. Brijraj really is an a**
Now Uday is definitely blackmailing he for something big. Marriage maybe? 🤔 . Maybe he doesn't actually marry her, and only makes her pretend it for as long as he wants. Yikes I am so curious to read the next part now and even more curious to see how you unfold the story. Once again, fantastic job Payal. Continue soon 😊
