Uday stood near the DJ, a smirk plastered onto his chiseled face. The party was in full swing, the girls were waiting for him to step down as he did, there was a wave of girls screaming and shouting his name, the music started up, he started to dance, making the girls scream louder. They were all over him, Uday would say that he was having fun, but then he'd be lying. Every few minutes his eyes travelled to the grand staircase, a little corner in his heart held the hope that she'd come and he wasn't disappointed, she descended the staircase, it was obvious she was nervous they way her eyes kept on flicking here and there. Uday knew who she was looking for, smirking he thought, "Time to put this plan into action". He dodged around the screaming and dancing girls until he got to Jai, "Care for a dance?" he asked reaching out his hand. Jai smirked, "Of course" and put her hand into his. Uday forced a smile, he found Jai repulsive but what could he do there was no other way.
Manyatha stood away from the crowd awkwardly, girls in skimpy dresses passed her giving disgusted looks, she was not fazed, with her head held high she plunged into the sea of screaming girls. The music suddenly changed into something more upbeat, as Manyatha wove her way through the crowd she stopped, her heart caught in her throat, Uday was holding Jai and dancing, Manyatha balled up her fists, that Jaighamandini had her skinny arms around Udays neck, HER Udays neck. Manyathas blood boiled, she stomped up to the DJ, "Change the song" she threatend. The DJ nodded, "sure Ms.Yuvrani". Manyatha happy with her work walked down from the small stage. The music stopped, she watched satisfied as Jai pulled away from Uday, instead ManyathEa walked up to Uday who looked surprised. As she passed Jai, Manyatha gave her a little shove and sent her into the crowd. The music started playing, it was soft and went perfect with the mood, everyone fell silent. "May I have this dance?" asked Manyatha. Uday smirked and slipped his arm around her waist and laced his fingers through hers, "Yes, yes you can". As the couple twisted and twirled they set fire to the dance floor, everyone watches in awe thinking, "how can two people have such chemistry". Jai angrily watched from a corner near the bar downing shots after shot. For the two people dancing they were the only ones in the room eveyone else had melted away, not one breaking eye contact, even as Uday twirled Manytha, her eyes never left his face. As it came to the dip, Manyatha saw this was the moment, his face was dangerously close to hers, " Uday" she whispered. "hmm" he answered. "I love you", "I love you too Princess" he answered, and they sealed it with a kiss.
