Chapter 1The rays of the sun reached her face. She got up with a huge smile on her face. The birds were chirping, the day was sunny and bright. The perfect wether for this special day. She got up quickly from her bed and ran out in her Pj's. Climbing into the arms of her Daddy. "Happy birthday Sonia" Uday wished. " Thank you daddy." Her sweet little voice came in reach of the beautiful maharani. She came running through the passage and said " Happy birthday Sonu." " Thanks maa" And she picked her daughter in her arms and hugged her. " Princess-1 and princess-2 look so cute." he complimented. " Thanks Uday." the sweet girl said. " Sonia?" She glanced at her mom and said " I said it in your ishtyle mom"

The jaigadh mahal was decorated with candles, balloons,streamers etc etc. Just when an old voice said " Everything should be proper it's my grand daughters 5th birthday." Just when a young girl came down the stairs and said " Relax dad" It was Unnati she knew that her father Giriraj loved parties.

All the princes,princesses,yuvraajs, yuvraanis, maharajs and maharanis were gathered at the grand party. None of them wanted to miss this party. The two most powerful estates were united and now as Jaigadh and Devgadh were neighbours before they interconnected the estates with the permission of the Mahasabha.
The Devgadh family entered the party and were welcomed very nicely by Giriraj. "The decoration looks beautiful. I'm sure it's Manyata who has exucited all this." " you're right Maa sahab" Brijraj said.
As all of them entered one by one all of them were now gathered. Unnati and Jehs fiances were there too. And Sonia liked them alot.
The trio came down. The birthday princess in a cute little flairy white frock with some sequences on it. The maharani in a baby pink sari and the maharaj in a three piece suit.

The cake cutting ceremony was about to start. Soni called out to her friends in a low voice " Come friends let's cut the cake" Uday noticed the dullness of Sonia and knew about it.

Rest of the party was smooth and cool. The young ones were enjoying along with the elders. But, Sonia stood there in one corner. Uday tapped her shoulder and said " Whay happend Sonia? " "Daddy why didn't he come? " "He is in London sweetie. He'll be back tomorrow". " OK" she said and went to her room.

That night god know's why but she couldn't sleep. She had a fear a dread. She was wheeping. But when he heard those soft sobs he got up. " Hey, princess why are you crying?" " Uday why did you get up? " " Don't change the topic. Tell me what happend?" " I don't know Uday". " Something is dreading me " she cried more. He held her soft face in his palms and told her " Nothing has happend princess. I'm there". He gently hugged her. She felt secure and she happily slept. But he could'nt seeing his wife like that. The whole night he wondered what has happend to her? Why is she scared? And the reason is- Nothing.

The cute little child ran inside the mahal. And shouted " Sonu Sonu. " He was the prince of Ranjhane. The 5 year old was a charming boy.He was Sonia's best friend. ' Solank'
He ran inside her room but couldn't see his best friend. " Sonu where are you?" he shouted. Just when Manyata came inside and said " Solank beta Sonia is bathing and you know that she has her own sweet little world inside the bathing room". She loved this boy very much. He was like her own son. And his story was somewhat like- Uday.
"So till Sonia comes out ummm up for your fav choc?" she said. " Yesss" he shouted. They both ran to the kitchen. She gave him his fav choc and he enjoyed it alot.
