Oh. My. Freaking. God! I LOVE IT! It is sooo amazing!! Man! The next update will be a heck of a wait! I really love it, a lot! I swear that when I was reading it, I was scared that it was gonna end and when it did, OMG! You!! So full of suspenses! You kill me girl!! And Uday hates his fianc but loves the girl who is his fianc, this is gonna be VERY interesting! So freaking excited!!! Please, please update faster, I can't describe how much I love the concept!

Chapter 3 - The enemy

Sitting on my bed with my arms folded around my knees and only the bedside lamp for company isn't the way I prefer to spend my night. It was hard concentrating on anything when those eyes would stare at me from the darkness, making me jump for the hundredth time.

He was right, that thought flashed across my mind again. He wasn't the UV I've known he was someone else, someone unknown and someone scary. I couldn't make myself free from that face for the past few weeks, it's almost been a month now but yet his face haunted my dreams.

Then I remembered his hold on my arms, how painful it was. But he seemed not to care a bit. The part of him that had feelings for me was locked away. I sighed. It was all because of me.

But harder was the part thinking that he hated me so much, so much that once he knew who I was he turned in to a full enemy from a best friend!

The door of my room opened making me jump again.

"Relax jiji it's me!"

Yeah right! It was Jay; I forgot she had told me that she'll be sleeping with me today. When I looked at her I couldn't stop myself from frowning a little, if it wasn't for her UV would never have known the truth.

It was odd how she called me Manyata for the first time that too in front of the last person to do so. Maybe it was my fate backstabbing me after all.

"If dadi sahib wants me in my room tell her I'll see her in the morning"

Jay sat on the edge of my bed silently looking keenly at me.

"So UV huh?"

She said after a moment. I looked at her surprised of her well informed mind.

"It's no more" I said shaking my head. It feels odd saying the words out loud but the truth after all will remain the truth.

"Oh come on jiji!" Jay said turning my face with her cold fingers to get a better look at me.

"I know he's yuvraj Udayveer Singh"

I gasped at her. My eyes widened taking in her profile after years. She was no longer the pimple faced teenager whom I left at the airport years ago. She had grown in to a beauty in those past years.

"So I was right!" Jay said more to herself.

"Your face betrays you too much jiji"

Unintentionally I sighed again.

"Wow!"

Jay said softly taking my silence to a yes.

I frowned at her this time making sure she sees it.

"There's nothing wow about it"

"Why jiji you're dating the most handsome yuvraj of all-time you should be happy you know"

"I was" I said making a vain attempt to make her understand.

"He hates me"

Jay kept looking at me for a moment she said nothing as we both know the bitter truth of the past.

"I'm sorry jiji" She said after that long pause,

"For everything"

After years I hugged her, her long black curls smelled nice just like old times, she hugged me back hiding her face in the curve between my neck and my shoulder, and we broke apart after a moment.

"It doesn't matter" I told her smiling trying to change the subject.

"After everything we'll end up together, it really doesn't matter who hates what anymore"

"It'll matter" Jay said wiping her tears and giving her a guilty look.

"It'll matter when you see things from the other side jiji…enmity with Jaygar isn't a good thing at all"

"You're just too much my wise old Nandu" I said hugging her once again.

"You can't lie to me my sweet dear Monu" she replied.

"What do you mean?"

"You love him"

It took me a while to take in the fact that she was serious. I sighed once again.

"There's still time"

I couldn't see what she was getting at honestly.

"If you loved him honestly then you'll have to try again"

"Try again to do what?"

"To turn him into UV"

"No chance" I said shaking my head.

"You don't know him Nandu he's too stubborn"

"Right" Jay agreed.

"But I know you"

She grasped my hands in to hers.

"I know that my Monu jiji won't accept defeat until she dies trying…so try once, apology"

"I tried" I told her.

"But he will never listen to me again"

"Hmmm" Jay made a thoughtful sound.

"Then we'll just have to find some other way to make him listen"

Knowing what sort of plans Jay sometimes came up with I crossed my arms across my chest.

"If it involves something like another date…"

"No no no" Jay said again.

"I need my sister alive for some more time so let's ask for expert advice"

I raised my eyebrows.

"Don't worry jiji" She beamed at me.

"My expert will sort things out in the morning"

She yawned.

"Now I'll sleep" She said hitting me with a pillow.

"It'll be a hard day tomorrow" She winked at me before turning off the lights.

"MONU!!!"

Oh god! She screams. I opened one of my eyes sleepily to see what the commotion was. It's never going to be calm and cool the mornings with Jay, she's something that doesn't know words like calm, silent, soft or gentle at all.

"GET UP!!!"

She yelled again in the top of her voice.

"What the…?" I asked sitting up in my bed.

She crossed her arms across my chest and started at me.

"Do you want to make everything right or not?" She asked.

What was she…? Ahh yes apologizing…

"I do" I said now my eyes were wide open that I saw another person in the room, it was a young man almost of my age…I do remember seeing him somewhere.

"Who is this Nandu?"

She smacked her forehead and turned to the other person.

"I told you her brain is a little bit…" She gestured him indicating that I'm mad.

He laughed his laughing face was much familiar that I suddenly seemed to remember who he was.

It took me a minute to control myself, I jumped off my bed and ran straight in to his outstretched arms yelling as I went.

"VIJAY BHAI!!!"

We hugged each other. It was so good seeing him again. Wonderful just like the old times.

"There there Monu Bhai there's no need to take the roof off"

"Where were you?"

"Exploring the world" He rolled his eyes.

"In my house of cause"

I turned to Jay.

"This was your expert?"

"Well as a matter of fact Monu bhai I've connections that can come useful for you"

"What do you mean?"

"Nandu bhai told me everything"

He said sitting in my bed.

"And I recommend a change in the style Mony bhai"

"What do you mean?"

"Oh Monu bhai you're using that line a little too much"

"I don't think any of those tricks will work on him"

"We'll try to get Nani sahib in the plan too"

"I don't understand"

"This is not a math quiz to understand Monu bhai, we'll take care of it relax"

That was the worst fear I had leaving my life to be taken care of by the biggest idiots in the planet.

A party? Honestly the world was coming to an end, and we were one of the first to get killed.

"Wow!" Jay said dreamily.

"Awesome" Vijay bhai commented.

"No please" was all I could manage.

They both frowned at me.

"It's great!" They said together.

"It's not just a party beta it's your first public appearance as the yuvrani of Devgar" Dadi sahib made an impatient sound.

"And jiji" Jay added. "Will invite all the guests personally"

I rolled my eyes at her which unfortunately dadi sahib spotted. She frowned at me though kept her silence. There was something going on Jay's head something that involves dead coming back to alive, I'm going to die that's a must.

"So" Vijay bhai said finally.

"First of all we'll invite the Jaygar family what say Monu bhai?"

I gulped at him. Have you ever heard of a brother and a sister who plots their sister's murder? IF not I'll arrange your meeting with two of the kind.

:In the next update of the player:

"Dada!" Unnati said as the glass broke in to pieces in his hand. Uday looked up his eyes gleaming dangerously.

"She doesn't know me that well choti!!" His lips twisted in to a grin that feared Unnati even more.

"But dada"

"She'll soon learn the lesson of her life"

"But Manyata is…"

"Princess!" He said turning to face his sister.

"Call her princess, that'll remind you what game she used to play with us"

"But.."

"Call her princess till she remains a one and that won't be for long"

His eyes fell on his bleeding hand and he smirked a little.

An argument followed by a dance and the end will be unimaginable
