Hey everyone
This is actually my official first topic/post on this forum (besides my SS), but honestly usually after watching an epi, the writers on this forum do such good analysis that I usually have nothing left to say 😃 .. k but after this AMAZING week, i couldn't help myself from making this post about UV, our beloved Prince 😳
K i won't lie, for the first time while watcing a TV show, I've actually had a character that forces me to THINK this much! Like literally I have to sit and ponder over this beautiful mystery- Yuvraj Udayveer Singh!
What I really want to share is how this guy just totally redefined my definition of love in so many ways (I've actually learned so much about life simply from him)!
1. Perfection does not give you love.
Honestly these days, this just sticks out to me the most. It seems like every other episode, Manyata does something stupid or selfish or childish, yet look at this guy! Does his love ever reduce? Never! I am sure that if UV tried he could probably get a more responsible, thoughtful, caring girl who actually respected his emotions. Manyata toys around with him everytime! She has got to be the most unstable character I've ever seen. She is so easily influenced by people (especially her enemies who she usually listens to without thinking twice), always trusts the wrong people, hurts the people who love her the most and the list of Manyata's naivety could go on forever. Personally, it was a very hard concept for me to understand how Uday can continue to love her soo much. I realized in the end that somewhere, we've all been consumed of this idea of PERFECTION. Perfect looks, perfect personality, perfect this and perfect that. What UV has made me realize is that perfection does not equate to love, but in fact sometimes imperfection is what leads to love. Now think about this statement for a second..if we compare the two characters UV and Manyata - who is more stable, socially outgoing, always knows what to say, and powerful? UV right? When I think of Manyata, I think naive and vulnerable. Yet, isn't it this vulnerability that brings UV closer to her and love her more? It's her innocence and naivety (can substitute word with stupidity if you'd like) that makes him so protective of her! That adds another dimension to his love, the role of her guardian! 😳
2. What is actually the definition of extraordinary love?
Before UV, extraordinary love for me equated to sacrifise. He had to have let her go marry Akash to prove it to me that he loves her! And for the longest time I thought, this dude obviously does not love this girl enough! But boy did my mind change. How? Because of my simple theory that Uday's love for Manyata is so strong that he just lets it go beyond the constraints of right and wrong, of selfish vs. selfless. He doesn't think he's doing anything wrong or hurting Manyata in any way simply becasue he truly in his heart believes that he will keep her happier than Akash ever will. He won't let Manyata go because its not just for his good, but hers as well. This is where his Yuvraaj personality and upbringing comes in the picture. It's for her own good that he doesn't let her go, because unlike the other Majnus, he believes in himself and above all the power of his love. He KNOWS that one day Manyata will be happier with him and will love him back, then where's even the question of letting her go?
Another way I also think of it is that many times people sacrifice not out of love but just because of the whole idea that its the RIGHT and GOOD thing to do morally and religiously. Again, love like UV's is about love that forces him to sometimes even let go of his moral conscience. All for that one girl.
Okay maybe I've ranted enough now! I probably had more to say, but thankfully I don't remember it anymore. Congratulations if you even made it to the end of this thing because looking back at it, it all seems like gibberish 😕😆

Any other insights on Uday's Extraordinary Love would be much appreciated as otherwise I might go mad trying to understand the madness of his love! 😳
