The CVs of DEK love confusing us. Yes initially Akash was chosen as the male lead but as the show started proceeding, his character got overshadowed by Uday. Majority of the audiences started preferring Uday over Akash. I have been watching this show for Uday/Ashish only otherwise I might not have even given it another look. And frankly, for me, I found Akash's character very dull and boring and it had nothing new to offer (no offense to Akash fans. Just my opinion) . And the kind of chemistry that ManVeer share is out of this world. MonAsh didn't have that factor in them.
Uday's character has not turned negative or black. He is still grey. His characters have many layers to it, some of which still need to open up. He's like a mystery box. Every time you try to open it, you'll be surprised to see what it holds. That's the beauty of his character. He's so unpredictable.
Yes, right now Uday might be looking a bit negative, but trust me he's not. He's just hurt and angry. From the outside, it could be seen that Uday was furious, extremely furious, but a closer look in his eyes would tell us how much the hurt and pain was evident there. But he didn't show an ounce of it. That's Yuvraaj Udayveer Singh. He can easily wear a mask to hide his true emotions so people like Manyata don't play with them. I actually loved the way he so confidently confessed everything, and that he helped her in becoming Yuvraani so he could marry her. Most of the people here are thinking that the way Uday confessed about the whole Akash fiasco and said he wished he could've given Akash a heroic death proves that he is a criminal and his character has turned negative again. Now I know there was a slight touch of negativity and villian-ish attitude from his side but hey what else did you expect from him?? He was broken, the girl he loved humiliated him every chance she got, sent him to jail without once asking his side of the story, made fun of his love and he was pratically turned into a wounded tiger. Whatever he said about Akash's death in my opinion was all just a lie. He was just rubbing salt on Manyata's wounds. He wanted to give her the pain that he was going through. Wanted to provoke her. He is already the bad guy in her eyes, so why not live up to her expectations? She would never have trusted him anyway had he told her that Akash accidentally fell off the cliff. Manyata never understands anything when being explained with love because she takes people for granted so Uday obviously had to resolve to other measures. He proved today that he is not afraid of accepting and showing who he is. If she is a Yuvraani, he too is a Yuvraaj with years worth of experience in such things. And we obviously couldn't expect him to shower Manyata with rose petals after what she did to him.
And lets not forget Shrishti Arya's tweets. She keeps on giving indirect confirmation that ManVeer is the end game and Uday is the lead. So let's just all relax because we are finally getting what we want. The CVs know that Akash and MonAsh do not work in favor of the TRPs and I don't think they would take such a risk again. Uday and ManVeer get TRPs for this show. And they are very well aware of this fact. Whatever is happening between Uday and Manyata right now will only make their relationship stronger in the future.
So guys just sit back, relax and enjoy this ride. I know the story seems a little twisted right now, and everybody is worried about Akash coming back. Well, let him. Because that would prove Uday's innocence and this time, Akash would be there only as a stepping stone for ManVeer. Don't forget, the CVs will always confuse us as to who the male lead is because if they tell us, they would lose their "suspense" factor and then there would be no surprise element left. All this is just paving way for ManVeer so don't get nervous and confused about the current track or that Uday is being shown as negative because he's not. Stay positive because as I keep on saying, ManVeer has officially begun 😊
And about your question, yes I too am yearning for that day when it would be Manyata who would be running after Uday and would be head over heels in love with him. Who knows, that day might come soon. As our Yuvraaj clearly said that now Manyata is going to crave for his love. Fingers crossed for that.
