Finally someone agrees with me. I've detested Priyal from day 1 - the girl can't act and is shrill beyond belief, and to add to our pains, her character is perhaps the most flawed and the weakest one on the show. The sooner she's shown the door, the better for the show. I hope the Channel and Producers decide to bring a new actor to play the reformed Manyata.
But is it even going to lead to a reform? In order to give Priyal the lead space - the love story of Monash was dragged beyond belief and tolerance. Even to the extent of sacrificing the original concept. This is the first time Sony has allowed the producers to massacre the original concept. A channel that supported such brilliant shows like Mahi Ve and Kismat has stood aside to watch this mockery.
I'll not say that I've nothing against Priyal, in fact I'm intensely anti-Priyal - I think she is terrible actor and has nothing to recommend her except a typical Punjabi face. She's been part of 3 shows so far and has been a source of annoyance on all (if we go by media reports). I thought she would've learned her lesson by now, but going from media reports, she's busy panning her own show and waiting for it to end. So much for a committed actor. Boot her and the show might still be redeemed. The rest of the cast is brilliant and have been able to get into the skin of their characters so beautifully. It is sad to see a good show and good concept go down the drain for a bad actor.
