Nice observation Reeha old buddy old pal...
Cause I was too busy gawking at the hunk shedding off his clothing... if only he'd taken off the black vest too... ok...censor the last sentence hehe
But yes, you are right.. Uday is like a mystery box who earlier we thought was just smart and calculative but now the CVs have should that he gets impulsive and sentimental too... hence another of his unrevealed sides... therefore there is so much more to learn about him than meets the eye
He can be a Pandora's box if rubbed the wrong way or a Prince Charming who could fulfill your heart desire should you name one... just depends on how you tackle the great hunky beast!

hey reeha! i love reading your comments whenever im in the forum - although, in recent days DEK has really strained my patience. such potential being flushed daily.
anyway, i really love your post. even i was thinking the same thing, the juxtaposition of colors and the elude to layers was really intriguing. the fight to me seemed very fair until the hockey stick came into the picture. the entire time i thought, both males are deserving of their opinion. while aakash is trying to salvage a personal relationship, his ego, and what he considers "his" - UVeer is trying to do the same just with a twist in purpose. this purpose being the far greater picture of manyata's history and birth right & responsibility. sure, she did not ask to be born with a duty towards others but in shirking that responsibility she is being selfish. in fact, i think this entire situation was fully propelled by her not being a strong female character, having chosen to take the path of yelling and lying (she must be acquainted with the anecdote of the boy who cried wolf), and in the end i feel like she took too much than she could handle and didnt even give 100% percent to either. either she love aakash, do what she must to obtain him WHILE following the "rules" of their relationship (faith, trust, etc) OR she follow through with her decision of accepting her family and becoming a proper princess WITHOUT washing her hands so flippantly and rashly of the important task she immaturely took. both promises she made, she could not fulfill & now this is the spiral of decline.
Ditto..the hockey stick thing was a little much for me; it's going to be interesting to see where things go especially considering JN recording the entire sequence- and M...honestly I don't even know where to start with this girl- her actions terms, thought and understanding are so contradictory at times that I don't know what to think! Gah! Honestly I just hope to see SOME potential in her, because currently we've gone right back to square one: She didnt understand DS's concept: she wasnt NOT going to give her Akash; she was simply pointing out that her becoming a Princess would CAUSE akash to leave her: WHICH HE DID- it caused FRICITION. And M still failed to see that *smacks hand to face* Gah! She is just so frusterating! grrr!😡

Reeha darlin, aapke observations ki toh daat deni padegi😆 Coming to your train of thought, I completely second that. In fact, I have always maintained that UV is attractive in looks (duh), but his personality is endearing because he is grey, which translates to human... which can further be clarified as non-majnu-like, and real. Akash is simply redundant and his dialouges need to be re-worked (hai rabba).
I'm going to take your wunner-phul analysis up (or down?) another level (excuse my audacity) Coming to Akash's pink attire, I will say this. Pink is a shade that often connotates a level of affection. The prevalent colour of love however, is red. So while Akash may always remain an affectionate part of M's life, his presence will always be overwhelmed by UV (love). He will always remain a lighter shade, a fond collection of good times and sense of what-could-have-been-but-was-never-meant-to-be. UV is the ishq samundar in which M-lady will be diving into before she even realizes what happened!
Cheers,
dc
