Udayveer is a master manipulator. For him the simple girl is only a pawn to show Akash his place. Love is not a tennis game to win. It is a matter of hearts. I dont understand this business of turning someone a rajkumari in these days of democracy, trade unions, self respect movements etc. The chawls are nowadays producing toppers and our Ambani brothers also lived in chawls once upon a time.

That is exactly why its called a 'drama'.. cause its extremely faraway from reality as one could comprehend. From the dressing of the chawl people who live in Mumbai and dress like villagers to the pronunciation of 'Thaank ku' from the girl who uses big words like 'competition' properly tells us that its fiction after all... so don't take it seriously otherwise it will rain flaws and bloopers!!

And we'd be sitting scratching our heads saying 'huh?'😕 while our sanity to comprehend logic slowly goes away!

Besides in indian telly shows, manipulators mostly win and when they actually pay... they minimally suffer and later come back to haunt everyone again... just my humble observation!!😆😆

Royalty still exists and exists BIGTIME even though the titles and estates are long gone. Royal families are a legacy in their states where people respect them and look up to them because this esteem has been passed down generations. The members of royal families mostly get into political seats and work for the welfare of erstwhile estates. Royal family of Jaipur, the Scindias are a fair example of that.

Maanyata needs to be groomed into a pincess because for Devgarh , she will be the face of the royal family. Just like UV is to Jaigarh.

Your reference to how great people rise out of Chawls is true but it holds no relevance in context to the story of Maanyata because she was born a Princess.

As for manipulators, if DS-UV are that , the precious Maanyata is no dettol-washed soul either.

Lolz at Dettol washed soul Poco :P

But yes! Even if royalties don't have actual power in the democracy, they represent the traditions of centuries. Sure the ones in the show are modern, even in the real India they are, but when it comes to showing people their traditions & culture, they show what is expected of them. Old, colorful and full of history.

Even today people of a state look up to their royal heads because the royals represent the state and mostly the royals have some government authority therefore, the people don't have to turn to anyone else because they know the royals are there to solve their problems. Manyata needs to be a princess to continue DS's legacy of being the head of Devgarh. By simply being there and acting like a true Rajput Princess, not only she'll be a moral support to the people of Devgarh but also be the face of Devgarh and represent it to the world.

Regarding the manipulators, well they aren't manipulating Manyata. They are simply making her face the reality. They have putting a lot at stake at the grooming of Manyata and ultimately letting her make the decision.

P.S - Uday's feelings for Manyata are real. His scheming, plotting attitude with her is long gone.

guys chill the poor people in dek do not represent real people they r just fiction
we audience know that so we call names a chawlwala akash etc that does not mean we r insulting people living in chawl. i bet people actually living in chawl who r as educated n sopisticated as so callled upper class too make fun n mock the dek chawl gang.

as far as prince is considered he truely loves maanyata in any form
as far as manipulation goes in tellywood u shud watch ekta maiya's shows in them after few episode "the title hero is replaced by other dude who might b negative or old". then the heroine will go all the way 2 win the new dude love by her sacrifice drama. so hero swapping is not new sometimes (in ekta show) it is against audience wish but then too she does it

but in this show nethier of the guys r shown in title hero so anyone can win.if they want the viewers support they shud let uv win and shud mould his character positively

Suppose if in place of Maanyata, Krishna turned out to be the Rajkumar and Jainandini tries to win him in a manipulative way, wont you feel for the left out one in the chawl?

Besides Akash is not loving Maanyata because she is a rich girl.

I observed a nastiness in UV whenever he sees Akash which is quite mean. Is is as though he is eyeing a rival.

But then he IS eying a rival isn't he? Why should he have warmth or sympathy for Akash? In Uday's eyes, Manyata is meant just for him...right from childhood. He has been bred with the single minded focus that he & Manyata are meant to be together...so naturally he takes Akash as an eyesore. I, for one, can't see anything wrong in that! Its not that Akash looks at Uday with particular affection is it?

The fact of the matter is...Uday & Akash are rivals...both vying for Manyata's heart. Difference is that Akash has the advantage of Manyata's love while Uday has the advantage of Manayata's family
