The Beauty-The Beast & The Gamechangers
The Beast :
UV, UV, UV! Abb acchaai raas nahiin aaayi , to kya kiya jaaye? Jab tak villain the , kya tewar the aur jab hero banne chale , to teen-teen logon ne first grade ka gadhaa banaa daala. UV was TWO-FACE today. Remember that infamous villain from the Batman stories who decided his good and bad moves with the toss of his coin ? A devastating face that was supergoodlooking on one side and a devilish burnt horror on the other. UV, in this show, is an extension of that Two-Face. The only difference being that his good and bad side is decided by the actions of people around him. If you are good to him, he is an angel. If you get on his wrong side, he is totally badass. Badass as in BADASS.
At the press conference you see a blue-blooded prince for whom, on the lines of DS-BR , honour is everything. Of course, whatever UV said at the PC, was insensitive and inhuman. But this darkness was borne more out of the situation than UV's smothered heart and his wounded ego. What else could he have said at the PC to save the honour of both the royal families ? To stop the whole world from disgracing Maanyata for her night escapades with a man without the family's knowledge? Putting Aakash in any good light meant shaming the royal honour and allowing everyone to play badminton with Maanyata's character? So, he chose evil to avoid a bigger evil – he labeled Aakash eccentric and publicity hungry. Demonic slap in response to a careless act of disgrace. If Aakash put up a fight in the last episode , UV killed the fight in this episode.
Later , when you see him having fun at Aakash's expense as he suffers the result of attacking UV and his eligibility to be loved, you see VINTAGE UV – Cold, calculative , fiendish . Yep, yep, yep. The garb of a villain that is his only rescue as goodness and sentiments make him pay with a pound of flesh. UV has hurt , almost devastated Aakash because he wanted to cause some hurt to Aakash that would silence his words . Anything that would take away the heaviness and humiliation and the hurt of having been deceived and rejected by Maanyata. UV knows he is a loser in the matter of hearts because his first brush with emotions only further made him believe that the best drink in the world is cold blood. So, he simply turned all the emotional attacks and reality checks into a killer attack.
Whatever Unnzie said didn't hit UV at all . He has simply zipped up his good side and he is cool being a mean machine. If nothing else, at least , he THINKS he is happy.
So, have fun with the beast , ppz. All soft mush kicked out , he was a Vintage Demon. Hope for him? Unnzie and Maanyata , but , for now, enjoy the C.O.L.D. Good, bad or grey – this man runs the show. Literally.
The Beauty
Maanyata was TOLERABLE today.Seetiyaan and taaliyaan. She was civilized , cultured , well-behaved , respectful and put forward her point alongwith her apology without getting jungle. Although the dialogues were long drawn out and the BG score jarring , she showed at least an iota of a sign of improving. She told her family that she may be taking time to accept and adapt to them but she is beginning to love them – she knows she is a thoughtless idiot , but she is guilty and ashamed of her actions and whatever her family had to go through because of her. DS and surprisingly even BR melted like chocolate mousse on a flame. I loved what BR told her – when you lose, don't lose the lesson. DS again said something that she will echo in her head when she dons the mantle of a princess – You are a princess, Maanyata. Remember , even if you blow into the wind, a storm will stir up.
Whatever DS, BR and even Vijay's mom ( to a certain extent) said registered with Maanyata and she was the weeping , head hung guilty party today. So, she heard and understood them, until the train stopped at Aakash. The royals are unable to drive it into her head that they cannot accept Aakash and nor can their lineage. He is from an another world and that is that. Of course, DS , BR , Vijay's Mom and Komzie were livid but Maanyata refuses to give him up . She wants to merge her slum life and her royal life and have a club sandwich family – but errm, the family doesn't want any such sandwich. So, the peace session ended in a fight with a disgusted DS, angry Komzie and a distressed DS.
Maanyata showed signs of hope when she angrily told off Vijay's Mom that the latter cannot talk to her like that – "Main bhi iss ghar ki beti hoon." She kept aside her ego and stubborn streak and bent down in front of her family. All that this girl needs is evolution and realization – to know , accept and embrace that she has to release Moniya forever because Maanyata is real. And DS's condition to change into Maanyata will set the ball rolling for the same.
The Gamechangers
DS, J , Aakash – they all are gamechangers in ManVeer's lives . The twists in the fate of this tale of the beauty and the beast. DS is the gamechanger in Maanyata's life because she will make her who she becomes. Aakash is the same in UV's life because his story with Maanyata and his POA will pave the tests for UV when his faade breaks and he has to not only accept that he loves Maanyata but deal with it as well. And J? By story logic, she is the acid test of ManVeer and there is so much that the creatives can do with her as she puts ManVeer through fire.
P.S- Missed Vijay and J. Aakash ki jagah un dono ko hi dikha dete yaar.
Love and luck always,❤️
GOD bless everyone. 🤗
