I actually think they are extremely similar people. They have the exact same personality, exact same way of reacting to things, they expect things to be done exactly their way, consequences be damned. Manyata might be impulsive right now, but to a certain extent she has learned about how to be calculative and manipulative just like Uday. For Uday, she is a free spirit and he is her biggest pankha, apart from that it doest matter to him that she is crass, wild and uneducated. Her personality and sheer force of will over powers any short comings she might have. Plus, she is extremely sharp and intelligent in picking up things, she is street smart, knows many languages have great emotional IQ, has been getting good practical lessons in politics, I believe one day the Royals would educate her along with giving her the etiquette lessons.

About sharing Interests, Manyata lived in a world where she wasnt exposed to things like fast cars or playing shooting shooting...once she experienced it she loved both...Manyata is all about childish wonderment for new experiences, even though she was bored by Uday's Horse talk with whatshisface...I am absolutely certain when given a chance she will love horse riding as much as he does, she will love fencing, hunting and chess as much as Uday does. Just like how much Uday loved eating her hand made Mirchi wali chaat and flying kites with her...its only a matter of exposure...once they are exposed to each others interests they will love it...because they are extremely similar people.

I totally agree with reeha...they are both really stubborn, selfish and in love with the wrong person. Do not get me wrong, I am huge manveer fan but practically speaking akash and M does not fit as M is a royal. UV and M do not fit because she lacks the polish and sospistication to be his maharani...but like you guys have mentioned it will change after the makeover...

as for common interests, as we saw on their date, she actually ended up having a lot of fun in learning shooting from him.. kyunke aakhir rajwaron ka khoon toh manyata mein bhi hai na ;)

then we saw how she loves playing kites, and apparantly uday does as well :P

so i guess we r yet to see many physical activities that they both would have common interests in ;)

i am guessing manyata wud be pretty interested in uday's polo games as well, SPECIALLY his horses. and uday for sure loves riding and taming horses. toh i think they can bond over this too ;)

the thing abt manyata is, her interests aren't very girlish. so though she and uday may be of very different mindsets, they actually would have MUCH more in common than monash. ;)

Very well explained :) agree wid u word to word, plus there's so much that they can teach each other coz they have lived their lives in two extremely opposite environments...Uday can teach her abt royal sports and stuff and Manyata can blackmail him into eating panipuri frm a road side stall...that's one scene m dieing to see .lolz :)
