While reading a lot of posts and comments regarding this past episode I feel like we are just STARTING to see the development of the characters. Even the writer in one her tweets said that it is only the beginning of the show as the show just started about 3 months ago. One of the characters that I thought was crystal clear and wouldn't change or grow is Akash as he seemed like a goody goody guy who did everything. Today's episode showed how Akash's character is changing too- the way he seemed too arrogant the way he spoke to the police and Uday. He also seems to be too overconfident in his love for Manyata. Manyata and Udayveer have started to develop more as well. Udayveer is starting to slowly realize that the way he has been leading his life might not be ideal way. He is starting to let himself feel and have emotions affect him. He was someone who only showed the softer side of himself to her sister but since his emotions are starting to take over, others such as Jay and Vejay are noticing this. On other hand Manyata while still caring and worrying about Akash is slowly realizing how her behavior and stubbornness is affecting the royal family. Manyata has been so busy trying to hold to whatever is left of her past life that she didn't even see the love and respect she was receiving from the royal family.
Another character that Reeha talked about in some of her posts is Chikki and I totally agree with her. At the moment she seems like a character that is not all that important but she gets a lot of screen time and if someone wasn't that important they wouldn't get that much screen time. Even when Chikki and Soni came to save Manyata they left Chikki in her place and not Soni- so a clue that she is more important than Soni. As Reeha and others pointed out she seems to be always the first one to get to Akash and is more of a friend to Akash than Manyata. She was also the first one to talk about him at the beginning of the show and how he is a great catch.
So I think all the characters are just starting to grow and develop and the show is just starting to progress. Manyata will slowly start becoming a Rajkumari and I think while doing she will start drifting away from her chawl friends. At the same time Udayveer will start acknowledging and expressing his feels/emotions. Akash is one character that I am not sure if he will become negative or just become someone who against royals for which Manyata might start hating him? So what do you guys think? Any ideas for how the characters will turn out in the future….
