yaar, ok first she used the family, their love, for meeting akash 😕
but i am watching the episode now, and i feel that manyata is being way too insensitive towards her blood family yaar...😕 i mean, i liked that "maa' just came out of her mouth yesterday.. per today when DS emotionally said that she is waiting for the day M calls her dadisa, and then komal kinda places a consolation hand on her, i felt like manyata could be a bit more sensitive and understanding - no? like, kya jayega if in this scene, just for DS's happiness, she had called her daadisa. 😕 i mean, DS has been VERY NICE to manyata these past few days, she has showered so much love on her... manyata can see clearly that they had no other motive in bringing her here than just wanting her back in their family.. so, if she can't be a loving family "member", she can atleast just be a caring person na... i understood when manyata told the family she needs time to understand and accept these "new" relations... but today i felt much time has elapsed, and she is in a very different position now than she was when she just arrived. before she was very angry towards everyone for bringing her. but now she understands and is actually seeming to like it here, and everoyone around her. so then, today when DS was being emotional, why couldn't manyata just be a bit sensitive and just give DS what she asked for?? 😕 it would've just made DS happy. anywayz manyata keeps lying to them and playing around with their emotions, so what would another small lie (as she doesn't seem to "see" DS as daadi yet..) have mattered ? 😕😛
it's like, all of madam manyata's affections, care, and understanding are for that one guy she left in chawl, whom she'd just met like a few months ago. beyond him, she does not seem to think twice about anyone else. all her planning and deep thinking are for pakash. why?? i think enough time has passed as for her to start giving SERIOUS thinking and consideration to this family she is living in now. 😕 guest banne ka time frame khatam ho chuka hai ab, and at this point even a guest starts to feel like a family member. 😕

Moniya seems to be doing all the niceness with her family (Komal, DS, Brij etc.) so that she can build their trust on her and leave the house whenever she wants. She also does it to hurt Jai (esp. the way she was staring at Jai during the lovely family scene today).

But at the same time - she's estranged to everyone and she may not have feelings. She may still think that these are the very people that trapped her and imprisoned her baba and keep her away from the outside world, including Akash. To add to that, she is still childish. I can sort of understand where she is coming from.

I hate that she has to play around like that with Komal and DS especially.

I think the only person that she genuinely cares about is Unnati. She also cares about Komal - but she doesn't seem to understand her own feelings.

She is insensitive - partially because she doesn't see the big picture. She's very much tapori - and doesn't see beyond the immediate topic (baba or Akash).

She's very immature, so the insensitivity goes hand in hand.

I think overall she needs to "wake up and smell the coffee"😉
She can have oddles and ooddles of affection for people- when she wants to.
BUT at the same time some of her affection- ie for Akash- is blinding her of her responsibility to get to know her family.
Yes, I agree with Nivi that the fact that her family restraints her causes her to dislike them: but at the same time, for a girl like Manyata who is so "street smart" we shouldnt be suprised that she's using everyone's emotions for her own gain. And YES, she damn well knows what she does infront of J irritates her: thats why she does it.
Manyata is every bit as competitive, manipulative and selfish as J: but at least is Upfront about it- Manyata has this whole "sweet innocent, don't know anything" facade up top. 😡

hmm...
yeah i guess ur right.. the main reason for all of this is that she is very immature, and childish. doesn't look, or infact refuses to look, at the big picture.
but the conflict here though is that on one hand we want to see her actions as the result of her hurt, that she got from being separated from her baba.. and that she sees the family as enemies becuz they separated her from murali... but then - we hardly EVER see her reminiscing her life with murali :S i thought she'd have all these flashbacks about murali for a long time, be involved in thoughtful scenes where she wonders why murali did what he did, was he right or wrong in doing what he did... basically pondering over all of what happened... but instead, all we got was her crying over and constantly thinking about AKASH????
this particular thing about manyata's character just did not sit well with me. i fail to understand how the cv's only made her think and cry and ponder about akash ever since she came here, and hardly once or twice mention murali.. when she had been captured the first time and brought to the mahal by uday, and when she had found out murali's truth from his own mouth, i had expected DAYS and DAYS of manyata being emotionless and just thinking about murali... life with murali... thinking about what murali did... pondering over whether it was right or wrong.. thinking about these new people, that they are her family...
but what we got was her transform into a full juliet mode. if anyone sees this drama now, without watching the first few episodes, would they ever be able to tell that this girl has been snatched away from the man she adored as her father her whole life..?? :S if someone was to watch this show now, all they'd be able to tell is that this girl is originally from some chawl, where she apparantly left her majnu, and cries 24/7 about her. nobody looking at her post-murali's confession would know that she actually had a baba who had turned out to be a fake kidnapper. :|

@bold: which is one thing i really HATE in heroines. that they pretend to be something they're not. or that they pretend NOT to be something that they are.
usually, it's the case of heroine putting up a mask of bravery and courage, when the next second they run into the guy's arm at the very sight of a small cockroach! 😆 those are the kekta type heroines ofcourse!😆
and here we have one who pretends to be goody goody, yet endorses all the qualities of a spoilt brat.😆 atleast J is and UV are upfront about it.

@Bolded portion
Manyata doesn't have the depth of character and understanding of heart as you have here.

She is raw. Junglee Billi! Whoever gave her name !!! Apt for her.

Only thing I want to emphasize is that Manyata is NOT A FEMALE JUNGLI BILLI because she does not have any maternal instincts.
She is more of a male wild cat who is better of alone and ready to even its cubs has it not been for the protective mother who nutures its cubs well knowing how to live in a herd.

Manyata or Moniya is the CV's own baby. So they can understand her. Not us 😆😆😆
