"Mujhe jaane do Uday, Akash mera intezaar kar raha hai. Let me go" she said struggling more. At that moment Akash came out of the caf followed by Chikki , Soni and Unnati.

"Uday, let go of Monya's hand right now or else" said Akash with clenched fists.

Uday looked murderous now and held Manyata's hand even tighter.

"Or else what?" he spoke between clenched teeth and he looked so fierce that Akash involuntarily took a step back. Seeing the tension Unnati came forward to pacify

"Dada please'"

"Get inside the car Unnati, I will see to you later" he said severely which made Unnati exit the scene.

"I won't let you take her from here" said Akash "She has come here by her wish and she will leave here by her wish"

Uday smirked and looked at Manyata who was standing still now looking at Akash. He could see fear in her eyes but not for herself but for her so called boy friend. What would she do if I hit him right now, mused Uday.

He is not even worth talking to let alone fight with Prince Udayveer, he thought and walked on with Manyata in tow.

"Let me go, I want to go to Akash" started Manyata.

"Monya, monya" shouted Akash as he proceeded behind her. Uday reached the car that was waiting for them and immediately four guards came from nowhere and surrounded them. One of them opened the backseat of the car and Uday forced Manyata inside and once glared at Akash promising to make him pay and got in behind her. Akash was trying to get pass the gaurds but they were too strong for him. They pushed him which caused him to fall down and looked crestfallen at the receding car.

Manyata sat as far as she could from Uday and leaned against the window tears streaming down her pale cheek. Everything seemed a dream now. "What a fool am I to believe J," she said to herself as she recalled the events of the evening.

She was excited from the time she got up as it was Akash's birthday and she had planned for an awesome party along with her chawl friends and Unnati. But she had to accompany Uday for some stupid award function. She had tried to escape many times even using the pretext of washroom but Uday hadn't fallen for that. She was just about to resign to her fate and that was when J had arrived with her usual act and had cornered her and offered the car which would take her to anywhere she wanted. "And like a fool I accepted" she thought as now she understood what her darling little sister threw her into. She should've been careful and she should've waited for Unnati thought Manyata as the car sped away into the night.

Manyata stole a glance at the person sitting beside her. He was brooding and she knew that once she reaches the palace all hell would break loose. "But I won't give up either" she said to herself. Unnati might be scared of him but not I she grimaced. As she recalled Unnati, she gave a slight gasp

"Oh God, Unnati will be in trouble because of me. She has done so much for me these past days and now see what I have got her into" thought Manyata. Her thought process was interrupted by the shrill ring of the phone which Uday answered.

"Yes dad..yes'oh I see. Is it bad?" Manyata looked at him

"No she is with me. Unnati is coming to the hotel in another car. Dad..no..listen to me. Please don't talk to Unnati till I come. Yes, yes I know that. No there was no media. Okay dad" he said and rang off.

Uday took in a deep breath and looking straight ahead said to Manyata

"You would be pleased to know Princess that your little sister J has related everything to Dadisaab and the rest of the family. They are waiting for us at the palace and I don't need to tell you what's on their mind right now."

Manyata gulped as she listened to Uday and silently cursed J. She kept quiet for the rest of the journey and her thoughts now and then went back to Akash but more than that she was upset with Uday's behavior. He wasn't speaking to her or even looking at her and when she had moved further away in the car he hadn't even bothered to follow her. What must be going on in his mind, she thought

"She deserves it", thought Udayveer as he cut his father's call and narrated the happenings to Manyata. She looked distressed but Uday didn't feel pity for her. He was disgusted with himself that a mere girl, no matter if she was a princess, would take him for a ride. What had happened to intuition? He knew something was cooking but he never imagined it to be of this magnitude. He should have been more vigil. He should've stopped it before it could've proceeded so far. How could he have been so careless?

"Don't worry Dadisaab I will take care of her and not let her out of my sight" the words kept repeating inside his mind. "How will I face Dadisaab now? Damn you J" he grounded his teeth.

He had seen her looking at him and he knew that she wasn't scared of him but that she was angry. "Wait and watch Manyata. Iam a Prince and my ancestors have won every war and this time is no less. You will be mine and mine alone even if I have to take you by force" he promised himself as the car stopped in front of the Palace.

Two uniformed guards came and immediately opened both the sides of the car and Manyata got out and ran into the palace. Uday watched her and took out his phone and dialed a number.

"Manyata" spoke a voice which was calm but fierce enough to stop her in her tracks. Manyata looked up to see the entire family standing in front of her.

"O teri! Tut oh gayi Monya" she said to herself
