I know most people here are mad at Manyata for playing with her family's emotions just to get money for Aakash's birthday party and at Unnati for supporting her even if that means deceiving Udayveer at some level.
However, I do not hate either of them for what they're doing. I think they're justified to an extent. Yes, they are not perfect, and ideally, they shouldn't be doing this, but isn't that what we are all tired of seeing anyway? The perfect women who just have no vices? I think this makes them both more real and believable.
Manyata - Well, though I do agree that it was wrong of her to do what she did, I do think she has her reasons. Look people, she spent what like 20 years with Aakash and those people? And what like 20 days with the royal family so far? Where do you think her loyalty lies at the moment? *EDIT - I haven't seen the show since the beginning so assumed she grew up in the chawl, which she apparently didn't. So ignore this statement please 😳* Of course, with Aakash and all. What she did was wrong but the royal family has wronged her at one point or the other. They won't let her meet the people she grew up with. After 16 years, they want her to forget her life, the people she spent so many years with, and pretend to be their perfect little princess. Yeah, not happening. Again, I'm by no means condoning what she did. It was wrong, yes. But at the same time I understand where she's coming from. Obviously, she's blinded by love. And it's not like she ordered food from a restaurant and presented it as if she cooked it. She made it herself and even though she was being opportunist, I do not think she committed such a big crime that can't be forgiven.. especially compared to all the politics Uday and Jai do all that time.
Unnati - I would hate her if she helped Manyata with Aakash when Uday truly loved her. But the fact is he does NOT! So I do not, and I repeat, do NOT see a single reason why what she did was wrong. For one, she knows her brother. She knows he's not serious about her. Just a day ago, we saw his 'harmless flirting.' I think it's very great of Unnati to put beside the sibbling loyalty and do what she thinks is right. She understands what Manyata is going through. She's perhaps the only who does. Manyata's whole life is turned upside down, and it's not easy to deal with it. Unnati has said before that she hates all these politics and I feel like she has trouble fitting in with people like Jai and Vijay who are always so selfish and thinking about nothing but themselves. The not completely 'fitting in' part is what bonds Unnati and Manyata so strongly, and that is why they understand each other well. Whatever Unnati did was just for Manyata, to give her a little happiness, and support her in whatever she wants to do. She doesn't want Manyata to be the next woman Uday plays with to satisfy his ego. She wants Manyata to make her own choice - whether she wants Uday or Aakash. And I find that quality of Unnati admirable.
Frankly, I think we are biased towards Uday because yes, he's quite handsome and also because we love grey characters. (Trust me, I'm guilty of that too 😳). But what he's doing is so much more wrong than what either Manyata or Unnati did. He wants to separate Manyata and Aakash when apparently they're truly in love when he doesn't even love her... yet... only doing it to satisfy his ego and to get the throne. THAT is ethically wrong. Don't get me wrong, I am a Uday-Manyata shipper too, but I just want us all to realize that we are being biased here. We love Uday and are willing to ignore all of that, but we get so riled up over Manyata & Unnati. Not fair :)
