I feel UdayVeer is not just a man of many layers, but also a person who has built solid Iron vaults around himself. He is every inch a Prince...Poised, Charming, Selfish, Calculative, Manipulative and Diplomatic... he has made himself into someone who is unreachable...he is someone to be desired, someone to idealize, someone who epitomize power and confidence...yet someone who is so larger then life that its almost impossible to connect with him emotionally.
I LOVE LOVE his evilness, his pragmatic, calculative bitchy self...it is dark and opportunistic. Yet he is so compelling and has so much conviction in himself that a person cant help but root for him. He is someone to be admired...he is smooth, sly, slick and oh so charming...girls would be dropping various articles of their clothing around him...whoever meets him becomes enamored by him...he has everyone eating out of the palm of his handđđđ...whether it be The Rajmata, Coat pe B waley uncle, or Princess J Ghamandini (had to use Moniya's words đ they r too awesome to not use)...yet no one knows what actually goes on in his mind.
With Unnati he is very sweet...With his father is very confident yet respectful...but not the real Uday, the human...There are emotions and sweetness exchanged but with careful measurement...as if he is almost afraid to open up his true self to anyone...he is unbeatable. someone who cannot be HURT or Touched no matter what the other person does. He is only Glamour and Charisma and all raw power...no sign of humanity anywhere...for I feel that, to be human is to be imperfect.
The reason why his character is so interesting having me going gaga over him is the sense of mystery that his true self is shrouded in...there are Glimpses of the True Uday present in there somewhere ...only a couple of times...but those small glimpses have left me wanting for more...the scene where he drove around like a maniac after BrijRaj's request for him to Marry J, the conflict and agitation within him while throwing those stones...his conflict over his thirsting ambition to acheive the Throne and harboring an unwanted, unknowing hope of the return of his childhood friend...his stunned disbelief when he sees Manyata's Scar at the night club...his unwarranted hope/fear when he stares and bows to her at the end of their encounter...recently his bruised Ego when HIS Fiance, whos Loyalties should belong to him claims to Love another, Hearing her Profess that Love and most recently his trepiadition at her being lost all over again...this is the real Uday without any masks...he tries soo hard to play it cool, compose himself over and over again...and yet these moments give evidence and hope that there resides a lil centimeter of humanity within the every inch of an Ambitious Prince.
P.S. i know its too long...but i love the anti Heros...he reminds me of the Evil Thakur i was in love with đ...anyway the scoop for Character Development of almost all the major characters here is what is holding me glued to my Screenđ...i hope the writers take it in a forward direction rather than restricting the characters within a circle...
P.P.S. BTW loved your Thoughts on Uday as well...very well put đ
